Great burr grinder, easy to use and good grind settings. I've used this everyday for the past year and haven't had a problem. The reservoir is a bit small but I added a quart sized ball jar with a regular sized mouth opening to increase the capacity. Works well and I don't have to fill it too often.

I'm not gonna put this grinder on blast. If you want a compact, simple, basic grinder that you don't plan on putting anything dense in, this one will do decently. It arrives pre-assembled, and it's so small you could put it wherever without feeling like it's cluttering up your counter. There's one knob on it to adjust your grind time, you twist the hopper to adjust grind size, and one button to start it up. It doesn't get much simpler than that. So from a UI standpoint, it's a breeze! It's made of plastic, but you that's not really an issue or surprise for grinders at this price point. You usually have to spend a decent bit more to get away from plastic. Now, there were a few headaches I noticed right off the bat. The first time I used it, it choked and clogged on me. It seemed to even out with subsequent uses, but I suspect it has a low-powered motor in it. Definitely not suitable for a super light roast. The grind also is gonna receive some mixed opinions from me. They're mixed because my own use case might not be what the burrs are really geared toward. If you're trying to grind for espresso like I was, this is where my title comes in. I'd suggest weighing your options, because sometimes a penny saved is a pain in the neck earned. If you're grinding for something less finicky like drip coffee? I had no issues there! You get freshly-ground coffee which will almost always taste better than anything pre-ground. So if you're looking to grind coffee fresh for your drip machine, you should be pretty well set! Just again, if you're looking for an espresso grinder, I'd be a little more wary. This thing produces fines like it's applying to sell luxury jewelry. (Get it? Fines? Fine jewelry? Moving on...) Grinding fresh will also often leave you with static that makes the grounds stick to the canister and this machine isn't an exception. I didn't notice any serious mitigation, either, as grinds loved to stick to the inside of the canister and absolutely wouldn't budge. But again, I was just impulse-buying a cheap grinder for espresso and wound up switching to another grinder in the end. My experience won't be universal, so think about what you're looking for out of this! I rated it 4 stars because of the growing pains getting it to actually grind coffee in general, not because of my own experience. As for longevity, I switched it out before I had a chance to evaluate it for durability, so I can't speak on that. Plenty of other reviewers to read through! Either way, it's what you'd expect for the money. Not remarkable either way, good or bad.

I have to say when I first saw this Wancle Electric Burr coffee grinder, I thought how wonderful this will serve my needs greatly and that is to just grind coffee. So it shows up and I'm checking it out the ease of using it the design hopefully the ease of cleaning it etc etc... So I plug it in now that I know how to use this device I pour the coffee beans into the top Hopper and adjust the settings accordingly to the grind that I would like. At first I thought the noise level was loud. The growing quality was exactly what I wanted so that was nice however in the design of it for some reason when I was hoping to do a whole bag at once and not just little bit here a little bit there cuz I type of noise is not something I want to hear everyday. So I tried to do two pots which would be one week's worth in my French press. I got to my second grind and the thing would not start it was insanely hot to the touch the housing on the side of it was was extremely hot I almost got burned on it. So I let it sit for you know half an hour 40 minutes which I started to try to use it again which it worked so the design in my opinion is not so good. The grind quality is that of espresso as we know and that came out very well, the ease of cleaning I did not find it easy at all it was very difficult to keep it clean just for running two things through it at that point I just basically cleaned it up as good as I could I put it back in the box and I returned it. The simple fact that when I tried to put two if I was to be a normal person and have two pots of coffee I'd have to wait in between both of those pots of coffee from grinding the the coffee beans number one and number two the plastic housing where the motor is it didn't have I don't think the proper ventilation to keep it cool while it was working so therefore the plastic got so very super hot in a way that it could hurt myself or somebody else. It did not personally burn me but I see where it could burn somebody possibly.

I have this grinder for two months now in daily use, 2-3 times a day, grinding about 1oz of coffee beans (on the 5 cups mark, at medium level about the 14th mark) for a drip coffee maker and occasionally for an espresso machine. I never even tried the full capacity, so the grinder sees a relatively easy life in my house... Saying that, it's been absolutely wonderful. It grinds the beans to a very consistent size of grains and has minimal static and minimal retention. I just tap the grinds container lightly and there is very little else to do. Not much to clean either, but note that I never use oily beans, just dry medium to medium-dark roast. It is mildly loud, but that is not a major concern for my situation. It might wake up a person in a nearby room but it's not very loud in my book. I can't judge long-term reliability but so far so good.

Works perfectly! This little grinder is fairly quiet and works great. I love it shuts off after the desired amount.

This is my first burr grinder, so I was not really sure what to expect. I have had it a few weeks and love it! It is loud, but all grinders are loud. The only quiet grinder I have seen was my last one after it broke. Pros: you can adjust it to make the amount for the amount of coffee you are making and you can select how fine to have it grind. Cons: This is not a big deal, but I wish the hopper was a little bigger as it only holds enough for 2 pots of coffee. I am sure that is actually good so beans don't get stale, but it would be handy.

This is a perfectly usable burr grinder for anyone who is looking to make pour over coffee for themselves. The grain quality is alright, and I do appreciate the way the dial lends itself to fine-tuning. You’ll be good to go to make a pour over or a French press, no problem. Here are my compunctions: first, this thing is insanely loud. It routinely scares the soul out of my cat every time I use it. This is par for the course with a grinder this small, but it’s still easily the noisiest small burr grinder I’ve ever used. My next issue is that the hopper is tiny. While I like the airtight lid, the hopper itself can only hold about four ounces of beans, if that much. While this is fine for a single cup, it automatically precludes larger batch recipes for things like cold brew. Finally, the construction of the grinder is what you’d expect from the price point. That is to say, poor quality. When this thing breaks or needs new burrs, I’ll just shell out the extra money to get a better grinder. So if you don’t care about noise and are only planning to use the grinder for pour overs and you’re on a strict budget, I’d personally recommend just spending $20 more and getting a higher quality grinder, but this one works in a pinch.

Had this grinder for around a month. I use it to grind beans for a moka pot and AeroPress, so I can’t comment on its ability to grind for espresso. However, for the money, this grinder is brilliant so far. It’s nice and compact, and while it’s a little loud, you get used to it — it’s not that big of an issue. The little container that holds the ground beans is a bit annoying when trying to knock the grinds out into your chosen brewer, and sometimes it’s a little messy, but again, these are things you can look past given the price point. Honestly, for the money you can’t really go wrong. No, it’s not perfect, but it does its job well for the price. If you’re on a budget and want a grinder that gets the job done, then I recommend it.
