This rice cooker is super. I love it. I use it for parties and other big family gatherings. I works great, the rice comes out exactly as i want. I am planning to get a second one.

Excellent rice cooker

This is my first huge rice pot purchase, and I am happy with it. The price for this is actually very reasonable! So far, cooking large amounts of rice has been very easy and our rice has come out perfect - every time. We bought this to do fundraising events to make plate lunches, and I probably will buy more in the future if we ever expand. The pots are very sturdy and easy to clean.

I purchased this in hopes that it would make my life easier. This is the biggest waste of money. I’ve currently been using their aroma rice cooker that cooks 10 cups of rice and it works great but I have to do multiple cooks. This however, is awful.

This does what it says and with 12 cups of rice and 24 cups of water, it will feed about 90 kids for a snack serving. I have been using this cooker for a year and a half and it has been continually producing high quality white and brown rice. It is easy to set up, but, if it is unwatched it can be messy with the steam/bubbles from the rice sometimes coming out the sides of the lid near the end of cooking. I wash the inner basin after soaking it with hot, soapy water for a bit, since there are special cleaning instructions for that part and the outer heating element. I haven't had rice burning while using the automated mode, however there is some browning near the bottom.

The size is perfect for my needs, making it incredibly versatile. Whether I’m using it for decor or practical purposes, it suits every requirement beautifully. I really like this 60 cup rice cooker. You can cook as little as 10 cups or 20, 30, 40, 50, 60. Just a tip read the instruction manual just because you have used a rice cooker before you should not assume that everything will be the same. When you cook large amounts somethings may differ. Like they recommend waiting 20 after the cook light switch to warm for the rice to complete its cooking cycle. I usually cook 30 cups every Monday and store it in smart spin containers. I eat it all week and start over again. I have learned to make rice many different ways and I save soooooo much money and time. I used to use a little rice cooker and I had to wash it and use it day after day. Now with this rice cooker I can cook and clean my food for a week in under 1 hour. As another reviewer stated the top edge is sharp so you should be careful. I have also used this to make pasta based on another reviewers remarks. You must watch over it while it cooks and have the lid cracked properly or it will boil over. The instructions say only to use this cooker for making rice so I am only mentioning what I have done with good success. You should exercise caution if you decide to use it in ways that go against recommendations of the manufacturer. I like this rice cooker so much I am considering buying a backup to put in storage in case this one should ever fail and they are not being made anymore. My quick rice recipe 1 dash pepper 2 table spoons olive oil 1/2 cup diced ham 1/4 cup diced green olives 1/4 cup diced cheese (your choice) 4 cups cooked rice stir and serve Goodluck, Matthew

Works great. Well built. For people who complain about the rice cooker last less than one year, make sure you dry the outside surface including the bottom of the pot before you plug in and hit the “cook” button.
