So far so good! Husband loves them. No nesting , smooth cast, and looks classy. Love the color combination, different height and weights available for your specific needs. Light weight, easy to assemble. He’s caught several bass fish in a short period of time. Definitely a winner. For the price definitely a great value and would buy again and recommend

Im no professional, just a regular guy but I do fish 4-5 times a week. I've had this combo for a couple of days now and so far its been great. I wanted something lightweight and only 6' in length specifically for creek wading. Its got a good balance and its very sensitive. And the extra tip is a definite bonus. Very happy so far (just wish I could get it in black) Works well for my needs.

I’ve been very impressed with Kastking, landed my PB rainbow with this rod and reel. The action is incredibly smooth, I’ve also been very impressed with how tough it is. I’m not easy on gear and this thing has held up quite well. Tough to beat for the money.

I've purchased 5 different Kastking rod and reel combos this year. I became a huge fan because the quality seemed really great, especially on the reels. This combo was no different and I loved using it but I went to set the hook yesterday and the rod snapped into multiple pieces. I have only had it for about 2.5 months and have used it quite a bit but I store it in a rod sleeve and don't abuse it so I'm baffled as to why it would break while not under incredible stress or abuse. I haven't reached out to them to see if they'll warranty it or not but I doubt it. I'll report back if they do. Edit: Their warranty department was great to work with and they covered the rod without any question.

Bought it as my first fishing rod and reel and it did not disappoint. It casts far and smoothly. But after some use the lettering came off. I just have one complaint its about the handles. For me they are a little too small and they get dirty pretty easily but it still works.

WOW what an amazing combo at a great price! The action on it is so smooth and I've caught up to 18lb Pike so far on it and nothing has broken. It's easy enough to maintain too. Win in my books

Looks good but don't expect it to last long. Bought one for my son and the rod snapped on a routine cast after only about 2 weeks of use and maybe 30 casts. He was just casting a smaller chatterbait and bam, gone. Snapped about 3/4 of the way up the rod without any warning. But because it was a birthday present, the return window of 30 days had closed already.

Fantastic rod very happy with it looks sexy feels sexy and works perfect for small fish, the spinner for it is very smooth and with the rod you can feel ever little detail you want, not sure how it handles bigger stronger fish yet but once I hook one I’ll update this review.

Logré capturar la lobina más grande hasta ahora, la vara respondió bien, fuerte más flexible de lo que me gustaría, el carrete se ve bien pero ya al usarlo se siente de mala calidad comoarado con otros, se despintaron las letras pero no falló en una larga jornada de pesca así que para una caña de respaldo o primer equipo la recomiendo
