I've had the 1st ed for quite some time now which has been my go-to atlas for image-guided procedures throughout fellowship and now as an attending. The 2nd ed has a lot of additional content in terms of US-guided procedures. Also, a number of new fluoroscopic procedures have been added including: different caudal ESI approaches, repair of sacral insufficiency fractures, occipital nerve blocks, peripheral joint injections, and iliac crest marrow aspiration. I’d highly recommend this purchase for those in training as well as those looking to expand their interventional skillset.

Highly recommended book to any new or experience pain physicians who wish to improve their techniques. It is a significant improvement of the 1st edition with many more sections added. The new video sections are very nice and the digital images are amazing. I can read this book on my smart phone when I am waiting in line or when I am flying. Experconsult.com version of this book is outstanding and it is free. So do not need to buy another electronic version or Kindle version.

Great reference guide for challenging to procedures
I like the explanations for how to perform challenging pain procedures in this text. It is also very convenient that ultrasound guided procedure techniques are included

20 years doing fluoro procedures adn this is the best book to date.

Good for MD inteventional pain, not valuable to NP
I bought it to understand the offerings at my new clinic. Very technical. Likely good for the MD in fellowship. Not very valuable for NP.
