Probably the nicest suit I ever worn. No!! It is the best I've worn. 5'10 male 185lbs. Ordered large, but possible go medium. Well ventilated. I will give a full run through on my most aggressive bees. But so far no stings. Both head covers are very nice. No complaints. Ordering another for spouse today . 5.7 140lbs going with medium. Will update on fit

I don't love it. The suit is much heavier and hotter than I had hoped for. It's construction, stitching, zippers, mesh, seem very good. Nice pockets! But, the padded knees are huge and act like blankets on your legs, and many areas have airflow restricted by pocket, neck, cuffs, etc. I wear a t-shirt and shorts under the suit and COOK! I almost sent it back, but will keep it.

This bee suit is fully ventilated and in the South Texas heat it is refreshing. My other suits don’t allow air flow as freely and I can’t check all of my hives without having to stop and rehydrate multiple times. One thing I found is the fencing vale did not work well for me as my face would bump against it, and hence a sting or two to the face. I switched out bee keepers vale and find it works better and is cooler. I have not been stung through the suit, even with the hot hives. I find the suit to be the right size for me. I purchased a Large, and I am 5’ 10”, 175 pounds. If I was any bigger I would need the next size up. Hope this helps.

These run large. I bought the same size I have in other suits and this thing swamped me. I was around some very aggressive bees while taking off the honey super and the suit did well, no stings except for through the gloves. Pros * Not as hot as other suits due to being a mess rather than a solid canvas * Comes with a separate hat/hood to be worn by itself and not with the suit * cooler than most other suits * protected well from aggressive bees * very good Velcro over the zipper ends to cover all holes around the neck * hood was comfy and I could see well Cons *Velcro straps at the bottom of the pant legs is more difficult to get a tight seal vs an elastic band. This leaves the ancles a little more vulnerable than other suits *The suit runs large and the arms were beyond my fingertips and legs went past my toes so I had to bunch them up. This isn't that bad as a bunched suit is less like to have bee stings than a suit that is tighter to the skin or surface. *Gloves were thinner than others I've used and I did get a prick through the glove and 4-5 stingers left in the gloves I'm going to return this for a smaller size. I probably would not buy this again, but I'll see if I change my mind once I get a better size.

Is this the best bee suit I've encountered so far? Yes Is it sturdy? Yes Is it durable? Yes Is it light weight? No Do I still get stung by bees though? Yes I guess we can't have it all but this is the best suit my family and I have tried thus far. On most days when we wear the suit, we don't worry too much about getting stung but we've still gotten stung on the knee cap and arm. A bee or two has also got in but I feel safer in this suit than any other that I've had. The suit has held up well over 10 honey harvests but we did notice the threads on the armpit start to unwind a bit. We had some concerns about the zippers since they don’t fully close at the neck, and the Velcro flap meant to cover them isn’t very secure. It’s not a problem if you're not making huge movements, but with a lot of movement, the zipper tends to slide open a bit over time, which could let bees in. It happened once but we started adding masking tape across the sides to hold the flap in place and since then we haven't had any issues.
