Surprisingly good quality!
I am truly impressed with the quality of these brass hose connectors. The seller’s description is spot on. The price for two sets is a good bargain. The connectors themselves are well machined and nicely finished. The thickness and weight is standard. The hose clamps are 304 stainless steel (non-magnetic) and the screw appears to be 430 stainless as they are slightly magnetic. The clamps secure tightly without digging into the hose. I experienced no leakage. As far as durability, I think these connectors will outlast several hoses. Added bonus - I received two extra rubber washers per set of connectors.

Quality brass
This is the best quality I haven't seen in years at Lowe's and HD. It is machined from brass, feels solid, and costs much less than at Lowe's.

Easy repair with solid brass
It should be emphasized that this garden hose repair kit is made of heavy duty solid brass, in contrast to the thin material of various composition that may be found in stores. This means that leaks caused by out-of-round deformation at the connecting ends are avoided. The pieces fitted exactly a 5/8" hose, the stainless steel clamps were excellent, and there were no leaks. Recommended.

Excellent quality brass connectors.
I had to cut off the end of my 5/8" Flexilla garden hose. This was easy to install and the clamps are 303 stainless steel. I finally have a hose that doesn't leak.
