Best ceiling fan I have ever owned. And I have had many. It’s a beautiful fan. I bought the white one. The soft grain wooden blades on the one side are perfect for my room. And, what a difference a DC motor makes. I hear nothing when I turn it on - its air flow is like a summer breeze. It has six speeds, and they are all completely quiet. Also, all kinds of light choices - fabulous. ‘Zero trouble with the remote. It works flawlessly. Easy to assemble. I just bought it yesterday. I’ll update if necessary.

Background I purchased this fan to replace a Hunter ceiling fan in my bedroom. The Hunter was a decent unit, but it rattled at high speeds and had a noticeable motor hum that worsened with increased speed. My goal was to find a fan that solved both problems. Despite some hesitation about an unfamiliar brand, this DREO delivered on everything I was looking for. Installation Assembly is straightforward. Most of the work (including attaching the blades) is done on the ground before mounting, which makes the process much less awkward than typical ceiling fan installs. The 3-wire hookup (hot, neutral, ground) is simpler than fans that require a separate remote receiver, and there's plenty of room to work inside the canopy. Features & controls The remote gives granular control over fan speed, light color temperature, and dimming level. The DREO app connected without any issues and offers the same control from your phone. There are additional fan modes available on the remote, though I didn't find them particularly useful for everyday use. Build quality & noise The fit and finish exceeded my expectations for a brand I wasn't familiar with. The fan runs completely silently, even at the highest speed setting. This alone makes it a massive upgrade over my previous fan. The one downside The flat LED panel directs most of its light straight down rather than spreading it across the room. It lights up the area directly below well, but doesn't fill the whole room the way a traditional bulb setup would. It's a minor trade-off and easy to live with given how well everything else performs. Bottom line An excellent ceiling fan. Quiet, feature-rich, easy to install, and well-built. I would absolutely buy another one.

I replaced two 6-year-old ceiling fans with this DREO Smart Ceiling Fan, and wow — I did not realize my old fans were basically just decorative ceiling fidget spinners. This fan moves a serious amount of air, especially on the high setting. I can actually set my AC a little higher now because the airflow makes the room feel so much cooler. Installation was super easy, and connecting it to the DREO app was quick and painless. The remote works great, but my favorite part is being able to use Alexa to change the fan speed when the remote is nowhere to be found, which somehow happens approximately 12 seconds after I set it down. The light is dimmable, the fan has a ton of speed options, and it runs really quietly. Overall, I’m very impressed. It looks great, works great, and makes my old fans look like they were powered by a gentle Victorian breeze.

Been using this fan awhile now. The install was fairly easy even as a 1 man job. Instructions were clear had no issues there. The fan and the air it moves is impressive and I very much enjoy the variety of fan speeds it does wobble a little more then my old fan but this seems normal and hasn't affected performance at all. The light is nice with the different temperature and brightness settings. The only downside is that the light is great at throwing light down but doesn't reach the upper corners of my office very well and the ceiling and corners are a big dark.

I bought two of these Dreo ceiling fans to replace aging ones in our 2nd floor bedrooms. One was a snap to install; the other had some issues with a roof joist interfering with installation of the new fan (had to change the metal mounting box), but that has nothing to do with the quality and function of these fans. They are whisper quiet, move a great deal of air, and have a wide variety of functions on the remote control. The remote has six speeds, but to date I haven't had to go above level 3 (we've had several days above 100° F here in the Denver area in summer 2025). The built-in dimmable LED lights are sufficient, but it's still a good idea to have lamps on the nightstands. These fans do a good job of keeping us cool at night, when I turn off the air conditioning and open the windows to save electricity (yes, we do that here in Colorado). The modern styling of the Dreo is a welcome change from the vintage look you see in most ceiling fans on the market. The only minor complaint I have is the fans hum gently on level 3. The light cover is mounted in such a way that the fan creates a mild resonance at that speed; it's not intrusive or annoying, but is noticeable since the fan doesn't do it at the other settings. A simple touch on the light cover stops it. Overall these are excellent ceiling fans, and I'm very satisfied with their performance to date.

We bought the smart fan that works with Alexa. The fan & light are great. The fan is very quiet. The light is bright on the highest setting. Decreased the brightness to 10% for bedroom use. It ended up being an all-day project to put it up. A lot of that time was taking down the old fan and bracket. Plus, I had to run to the hardware store to pick up a few items. The actual installing the Dreo fan took about an hour. We played the installation video as we put the fan together. Pretty straight forward. We had to use a long skinny screwdriver to put down the support rod while trying to push the cotter pin through the rod. The power wire kept getting in the way. Also, had to take the rod off and put back on because we forgot to put the upper and lower plastic hoods on the rod before putting it on. The installation video clearly showed how to do it, we just missed it. Anchoring the new fan mounting bracket took some time. We probably over anchored it, but we added 2 additional sheetrock toggle anchors. The fan comes with two wood screws. We chose to use our own 3" woodscrews to screw into the rafter. Then we used two 90lb toggle anchors. The bracket is now very secure. Putting the fan on to the bracket went well. The only issue was the installation video made it look like you needed to rotate the fan in order to lock it into the bracket. In reality, you just to line the fan mounting ball notch with the bracket's back middle. You can see a little protrusion on the inside bracket back. Then just slide it in. Once in, you shouldn't be about to rotate the fan. The wiring was a little tricky. The installation video shows how to put up a new fan. We were replacing an old fan with light switch and fan switch. The smart fan does not use the light or fan switches. You control it via the remote or whatever smart home app you use. I could not find any good videos that covered what you do with the light switches. In the end I found someone who suggested leaving one switch to turn the power on and off to the fan in case you needed to. I suggest still turning off the breaker in this situation. I left the old fan's light switch. Since the new fan doesn't need to be powered off and on with the switch, the power switch will always be on the "on" position. I removed the old fan's fan switch. That meant that in a double electrical box I had an empty spot where the fan switch use to be. I could have left the fan switch and just not hooked it up, but I didn't want to leave a switch that didn't do anything. I ordered a new light cover (Leviton 80706-W WH WP 2G 1TGL/1 BLANK STRAP MNT). This cover has a switch opening and then the other side is blank. The old fan's wiring had 4 wires going from the switches to old fan's light and fan. The Dreo fan only needs 3. I checked the colors of the wires at the light switch to makes sure that I was hooking the right power wire up to the fan. I had two old power wires (red & black). One for the old fan's light and one for the fan. I made sure that the black wire was hooked up to the switch that I left hooked up in the box. I used that black wire for power to the Dreo fan/light. I capped the old red wire in the light switch box and also up at the fan. On all my fan electrical connections, I used the Wago toggle electrical connectors (WAGO 221 Lever-Nuts 75pc Wire Connector Assortment Pack with Case). They are so easy to use and made an easier connection between stranded and solid wire. The only other issue was that I couldn't find a lot of info on how to use the Dreo ceiling fan with Alexa. To pair it, you just use the Dreo smart app. When I went to add a device, it recognized the fan without me having to do anything. Worked great. Once set up in the Dreo app, Alexa added it also. I could not find a lot of info on show to control it via Alexa voice commands. Basically, most of the commands you give control the fan. Through trial and error, found how to control the light. Most of the fan speed and brightness setting you just tell Alexa a number. For instance, "turn ceiling fan light to 3". With Alexa, you can set up routines to turn on and off the fan at certain times. Also, you can do a lot of other things. Alexa is the reason we went with the smart fan instead of the standard version. All-in-all this is a great fan. Even though we have fans throughout the house, I think eventually we will change some of them to the Dreo smart fan in the future.

The Dreo light exudes quality. I've had the unfortunate displeasure of hanging several ceiling fans this year and more in the past. All of them have been pains going up. But the design of this fan is great. Easy to assemble the blades with the built in blade/bracket holders make quick work of hanging it. The one handed, easy hang system they have makes quick work of hanging. The light module literally is plug and play and clicks right in with minimal effort. No screws, or keys are used when the light module is simply twisted into place after plugging in the connector. The light is bright as most multi-bulb lights that I've seen (especially the 5 bulb it replaced). The remote works well and is easy to understand. The light adjustability and 6 speed fan is a bonus. The fan is quiet as any I've seen (DC motor I guess). The only issue I have had was while operating the fan light, it started flickering and whining after being on for 12 hours straight. Turned it off and back on and no more issues. We were having construction going on and the workers were using the same circuit with their air compressor. My guess is that the compressor was pulling a lot of power and the brow out from the power draw caused the light to have an issue. It was not on full strength when it happened. It's been fine since. Will update if a problem occurs in the future. Only question I have, or concern I have is where would I get another remote. Guard it with your life. My fan does not have a separate switch. It is live and it is only controlled through the remote.

Très satisfait de ce ventilateur de plafond. J’avais quelques craintes concernant son diamètre de 132 cm, mais finalement il s’intègre parfaitement dans une pièce de vie de T2. Avec un plafond blanc, son design reste discret et harmonieux. L’application est simple à installer et à utiliser, ce qui facilite grandement la prise en main. Mon seul point de vigilance concerne l’installation au plafond, qui n’est pas la plus simple. Il faut être un minimum bricoleur pour assurer une fixation correcte. Une fois cette étape passée, le résultat est excellent. Je recommande sans hésiter, notamment pour faire face aux fortes chaleurs.

Spero di essere più dettagliato possibile dato le recensioni esistenti. Montaggio: il montaggio è stato semplice, fatto in 30 minuti. L’unica accortezza da fare per non impapinarvi, preparare il montaggio delle parti su un tavolo, quindi prima di fissare il tubo quello che va agganciato a quello fissato con i fisher al soffitto e alla plafoniera per intenderci, inserite i 2 coperchi altrimenti vi toccherà rismontare per rimetterli. Poi personalmente ho preferito mettere le pale con la plafoniera montata, per il resto è semplice (parte elettrica) basta inserire tra un pezzo e l’altro i pezzi con i colori rispettivi nello stesso punto. Uso: dotato di un telecomando con cambio di batteria da una vite sul fondo, ha 6 velocità del ventilatore di cui si può invertire il senso delle pale, tasto di accensione ventilatore e luce, regolazione luce luminosità/colore, un tasto con attiva/disattiva audio dei tasti alla plafoniera e dei timer fino a 8h. Wifi: con il wifi è stato semplicissimo, cè un codice qr che ti fa scaricare la applicazione dedicata, molto intuitiva e facile da usare, può essere collegata a google home, alexa e siri. Nelle impostazioni della app vedi subito per quale assistente vocale utilizzare. Personalmente ho alexa, ho fatto qualche routine e via. Presentazione: esteticamente mi piace tanto, materiali secondo di me di qualità, imballaggio perfetto, le pale sono in legno leggero, giustamente non devono essere massello se devono girare veloce. Silenzioso anche a velocità massima. Per ora non ho trovato difetti, con alexa funziona sempre. Detto questo io consiglio vivamente questo prodotto!

Zeer robuuste en soepel draaiende ventilator....geluidsniveau op de lagere snelheden is prima. Uiteraard wat meer hoorbaar op de hogere snelheden, maar dat heeft elke ventilator. Installatie is voor de gemiddelde doehetzelver prima te doen. Qua gewicht van de ventilator beter niet te monteren op lasdoos in plafond! Verlichting is perfect aan te passen, ook de verschillende rgb licht mogelijkheden.. Kortom...zeer tevreden over deze Plafondventilator!

I don't have much experience with the many fans on the market, but I wanted to upgrade my small plug-in ceiling fan that I have above the outdoor chairs, on a covered deck. Yep, the Dreo Smart Ceiling Fan with Lights is classed as an indoor one, but I like the look of this one and it has a remote control or you can use their app to control it. It was packaged very well and there were no damaged or missing parts. The quality, for the most part was good, but I'm sure like most of these fans, the actual blades were supper light. Make sure you have enough room to put this together, as the span is 52 inches. The manual was okay, although I thought that having the switchable down rod change information, after you've put the thing together is slightly stupid! Have that portion where you are putting the down rod in initially, so you can make the choice then! The remote control is excellent, and has its own little holder, but I also like being able to use their own app to control the fan. I've had no issues using that either, which means you can also link it to (Alexa!) I love smart gadgets!! The fan is super quiet and moves a load of air. I purchased this on sale and feel that this fan was a really good purchase.
