New territories for Glenmorangie
I had to admit that I was initially cautious about this product, a whisky that has been aged in 3 barrels oak, bourbon and rum, however I was pleasantly surprised. The maker has got a decent blend going on with lots of subtle notes that gradually reveal themselves on the palette. The bottle looks attractive and would be well received as a gift I feel. at 40% volume this is fairly potent and gives a good mouth feel. If you are feeling adventurous I think this is a great little addition to the range.
