Why is is this product priced twice as much as local grocery stores?

As a 3rd party seller, there are many expenses: Cost to buy the product from suppliers + cost to prepare the product for shipping + cost to ship product to Amazon warehouse + Amazon Storage fees + Amazon referral fees + Amazon Fulfillment fees + a little profit left over. Description says 34.4 oz pack of 8. But in the detailed description way down the page it says one 34 oz package. Which is correct?

I am not sure how the dropdown box popped up with an 8-pack as a descriptor, but this is definitely one single bag at 34.4oz.

What is the self life of this product

Not sure I was getting a bag every couple months and they were fine, I gotas much air out when sealing
