This folding scalpel knife is a fantastic little tool, perfect for EDC or various tasks around the house. Its compact size makes it easy to carry in your pocket or attach to a keychain using the included loop. The flip mechanism works smoothly, just push the tab on the back to open it, and push against the locking bar to close. The blades are razor-sharp and use a standard #24 design, making replacements readily available. It’s especially handy that it comes with 10 extra blades right out of the box. Swapping the blades might feel tricky at first, but once you figure out the technique (tilt slightly and pull to remove, then snap a new one in place), it’s simple and secure. All in all, this knife is highly functional and reliable for precision cutting tasks, and very very sharp, as advertised. Definitely recommended!

I love this little thing, best box opener you can get IMO. It's so light, you will not notice it in your pocket. I have a little zip pocket on most my pants and shorts that this lives in and I frequently send it through the wash because I can't feel it when I'm going through the pockets before putting my clothes in the wash. The titanium and stainless don't mind and don't rust. And it's ready to go already in my pocket when I need it lol. I've actually considered buying one for each of my pants and shorts with the zippered pocket so I can just leave it in there and not worry about accidentally forgetting it at home in the wrong pants. The blade is really easy to deploy with the flipper on the back, stays locked into position nice. Easy to close with the frame lock. The bearing action is smooth and it has a nice detent to keep the blade in its un-deployed state while pocketed. It's very convenient to be able to swap out the blades like you would with other utility knives, immediately on site, no bothering with a sharpener. The blades are VERY sharp out of the box, but they will dull kinda quick. Over all it's a great small tiny light-weight knife, you won't even notice it in your pocket until you need it. You can keep it in that tiny pocket in your jeans or any other small pockets you have.

I used this to cape my Bighorn sheep for full body mount last week and it did great. The blades are fairly easy to change. The only draw back for me is the size of the handle. Although the handle is small, it did work. If the handle was larger I would have given it a five. One last thing, I don't like how the blade lock mechanism work. Yes it works but it does not feel safe. I would recommend this to anyone, with one caveat, if you can find one with a larger handle go for it.

This is a well put together small scalpel bladed folder. It arrived in a small box without a blade installed. The individually packed, sterile blades are sharp and not difficult to install - removing the packaging is a bit fiddly. The tabbed blade holder opens easily and quickly. I found this a bit awkward as the overall length is short. Knives with tabbed assist open more easily than traditional folding pocket knives. Carry carefully. Scalpels are thin blades and when used for what they are designed, are excellent. Slitting envelopes and cutting packaging tape are instantaneous. Straight cuts will depend on the materials being cut. The blade may track or wander when slitting plastic packaging wrap. Not advised for opening retail security plastic packaging. Very light. The overall size is a bit large for a wallet but easily disappears in a pocket. No pocket clip is attached. The handle has two holes where a lanyard could be attached.

Okay... I'm a knife guy. And Benchmade this is not. But.... I love this little guy! It's smaller than your normal carry knives, but not as small as your dad's little fingernail cleaner Case. It just about the perfect "small knife" for light cutting chores. It'd be an AWESOME precision skinning knife... and as a cutting knife, you won't beat it... but it will not work at all for scraping or pulling (like when peeling an apple). Sideways pressure is not It's thing. I find it a bit too light for peeling apples the old-fashioned way, but it'll slice them like butter! I haven't had any issues with blade retention and blade changes are a snap. It looks pretty cool and everyone that's looked at it loves it. It is SUPER light in weight and a really good medium size pocket knife.

This knife is extremely durable, and it has a smooth action that locks firmly into place. It has been reliable and each blade has a decent amount of use before needing to be replaced. The fact that they added mini ball bearings to the blade shows me that they truly wanted to make a good product. My only issue has been keeping the main screw tight enough not to loosen up over time and not too tight as to restrict the action. I unfortunately stripped a screw from too many reassembles. but I use it a lot and try to keep it perfect. That is a very small issue that might be fixed with updated screws. I would love to see a upgraded version of this knife that was more robust, as well as being able to handle the thicker scalpel blades. But this one has been perfect for what I needed it for.

I love these scalpel knives. Never have to sharpen a blade again. This one is sturdy, reliable and very lightweight. The flipper opens the blade rapidly . This is Exactly what I was looking for and because it’s made from titanium which is great for EDC, this is the reason I spent the extra money on it.

I have about 8 of these scalpel knives. This is by far the most quality. Also have a few others knives from Olitans, they have all impressed with fit and finish.
