TLDR: The high level review of the Eversweet Max is it is an extremely convenient, quiet, practical and very fairly priced option for anyone with a cat or small dog. Especially if your pet is prone to cable chewing (which one of our Maine coons definitely is - big up PetKit for using braided cables as these are far less enjoyable for cats to chew). Overview: The PetKit Eversweet Max is the 3rd PetKit water fountain that we now own, much like the others we love the simple and minimalistic design. Our Maine coons absolutely love this new addition, and we do too due to the sheer amount of water that they drink as the 3L water tank means we can go a lot longer between filling. We love the flexibility that is provided by battery mode, and in the few weeks we have had it so far have been incredibly impressed with battery life. Long term we will likely be using it more in wired mode, but this also isn’t an issue as PetKit use braided cables which are far harder for cats to chew we’ve found! We also absolutely love being able to see how often, and for how long our cats have drank from the fountain in the PetKit App, especially since we use 2 PetKit feeders so we are now able to get an idea of both food consumed and water consumption. We would highly recommend the Eversweet Max, especially if you need the flexibility to have the water fountain away from a plug socket or have a very stubborn chewaholic! A few of our fav bits: - Minimalistic design - simple understated design that blends in well into any space, especially with the nice new PetKit branding - Quiet - the pump is not audible at all and you can also barely hear when it is cycling the water - Run on battery - the flexibility this offers is absolutely fantastic - Removable cable - something I suggested previously so it is great it is a separate part now - Filling/Cleaning - the Eversweet Max is easy to take apart in order to clean and even includes a little cleaning brush which is a nice touch - Quality - the outer plastic is solid and well made, and the steel tray drinking tray is super easy to keep clean - Indicator lights - make it clear when the filter needs changing and which mode the device is in Potential improvement ideas: There are a few future improvements that would be great to see, but are by no means deal breakers: - Including a plug would be a nice addition at this price point - Although the cable is removable, the connector into the unit itself is proprietary, it would be great if this made use of a more standard connector in future

Awesome bit of kit for my rescue cat, water filtration keeps the water clean, its easy to use with the app as it ties in with the automatic pet feeder I have to accompany the water fountain. It is on the expensive side, however a cheap constant flow water fountain I bought previously lasted less than a year. The fact that this fountain is also cordless means you can put it anywhere you want, but note there are options that you cant use when its just cordless. overall well built bit of kit

I’m really happy with this PETKIT wireless water fountain — it’s been a great addition for my pets. The design is sleek and modern, and the wireless pump means there are no wires getting in the way while cleaning and refilling. The water stays fresh and clean, and the filtration system seems to keep debris out well. My cat (and dogs!) have taken to it quickly, which is always a good sign. It’s also surprisingly quiet in operation — no loud buzzing to distract you while you’re at home. Overall it feels like a high‑quality product that genuinely helps keep my pets hydrated with minimal fuss.

Had this a few weeks now and it's a nice fountain. My cat is not a great at drinking and I guess he never will be, but at least you get a sense of reassurance seeing his visiting times in the app. Talking of which, it's poorly translated in parts, and they never miss an opportunity to advertise their other products which is both annoying and unnecessary. BUT it does serve the purpose. I've two gripes: the app is bluetooth which means it takes a few seconds to connect each time you check the stats. And there's a spot in the old thick-walled bungalow that my iPhone refuses to connect. If there's a version 2 of this premium water fountain they have to spend a £1 of the production cost and make it WiFi. There is an iPhone widget but of course it only refreshes *after* you've opened the app and reconnected with bluetooth. Of course if I paid for one of their feeders or litter trays, it can act as a WiFi hub for the fountain but I have no need nor desire for either. If they offered a £30 WiFi hub I'd buy that!!! They claim a metal bowl and it is, although technically it is more of a sloped plate, but everything else is plastic. It would be great if the water reservoir could be metal too, but my guess is that it would interfere with the wireless pump? At least they claim it's all BPA free. In summary: app is usable. Quality seems reasonable. Inductive (wireless) pump is a boon. I run the pump constantly as it's connected via USB to power permanently. The weekly clean is straightforward. I change the water mid-week. It's silent. The water flow is perfect. Every other fountain I've had over the years has been a little noisy.

This was a replacement for one that went wrong within 4.5 months. The last one had a plug in pump with the plug inside the water tank. It was a flaw I didn’t wish to repeat. (At this point I would line to point out Amazon gave me a full refund for it. Spot on customer service. So I spent a lot of time researching what was available. I wanted one with no electrics in the tank. Found some that used wireless pumps and figured this was the way forward. I liked the rechargeable battery feature on the last one and figured it would be good to have a rechargeable battery one again. Then I realised this all came at a price. After a bit more red wine, sorry, research, I manned up and bought this. Well it arrived today and I straight away set it up for the tribe. (Four cats.) The quality is really high and reflects the price. No sharp edges like the last one. It’s is really well made. It is easy to assemble and I have positioned it near a socket to charge. Which you can do whilst in use. Added water and washed the filter and plugged it in. Works perfectly. It is as near as silent as you can get the last one made a trickling sound which one of my furry overlords decided was the work of the devil and best avoided. He’s the first cat to use this one! Well that was a surprise. Not used the app yet and I’m not sure I need to: got a Burmese boy who’ll let me know if there is a problem. So far so good. Yes it is expensive for a water bowl. Yes cheaper versions are available. But I’ve been there and done that and wasn’t impressed. No, it does not come with a power source but I have enough chargers and usb wall sockets. The wife wanted filtered water for the cats and that’s what they’ve got. Albeit at the luxury end. I will try the app and update later. Very recommended so far.

I’d definitely recommend it to pet owners looking for a quiet, efficient, and low-maintenance water dispenser.

Very good, but my cat can still get it apart, which leads to water on the floor, would be great if the lid was sunken in a bit more. Also would have liked the water to come further into the bowl. The filter is excellent, and is easy to clean. But on the whole to expensive for what it does.

This brand of water fountain is excellent; the app's functions are very intelligent. It can record how many times your cat comes to drink and even reminds you to clean it.

Very nice filters, I still need to see if they loose bits after a month but so far so good
