Makes some cool designs
Flower design panels 12" x 12":My son requested a variety of acoustic panels for his dorm room wall. He says the walls are really thin and he wanted to be able to play his music or hang with his friends without worrying about receiving a noise complaint. He ordered seven different styles and made a really cool design covering the entire wall. He especially likes these panels because he and his friends have been coloring the flowers. He states that the acoustic panels have provided at least a 70% sound reduction! He says that he can blast music in his room and the second he goes out into the hallway and closes his door, the sound immediately drops to a near whisper. He is now more concerned about his neighbors above him! But it doesn’t seem to be a problem so perhaps the acoustic tiles on the wall are enough to absorb the sound because there have been no noise complaints yet and he certainly isn’t trying to be quiet any longer! When he opened these soundproof wall panels by Soundsbay, he stated that he didn’t find any noticeable smell like he thought he would. He says that these acoustic panels were very easy to install, just peel and stick. He found the adhesion to be good and strong, but was still able to remove and re-stick them to the wall when initially positioning them without any issues. He did want me to bring up the importance of having a razor if you plan to cut any of the tiles. He was able to use a steak knife, but the lines were not as smooth as they would have been if he had had a razor. That being said, he says that the acoustic tiles were still very easy to cut to different shapes and sizes, even if there weren’t any lines or creases. It was a bit pricey to buy enough tiles to cover the entire wall, but well worth it since they work so well!Update: He also ordered another Soundsbay pattern 'Leaves" that were 17" x 12". He found the adhesion with these to be extra strong, and did not try to remove and re-stick them to the wall while positioning. Of all the different tiles he got for his sound proof wall, these were his least favorite; mainly because they were so much more expensive than the others.

Great acoustic tiles--attractive and easy to install
I got these to put in my office closet, as that wall adjoins our guest room and sound travels easily between the rooms. These were incredibly easy to install. The full backside his adhesive and it adheres far more easily than other acoustic tiles of this sort, which often only have little sticky tabs to put up on the corners. (In my experience, that kind usually fails after a while). One should be aware that these are NOT easy to cut. I tried to cut them with scissors and then with a box cutter and really struggled. A saw would have been easier. I should add that the design looks great in my closet--I like the white and the patterns....hopefully the edges will not gather dust. Five out of five stars.

Nice quality
These have a really nice look to them which is fun for our studio. It's not a big setup we just have a little space downstairs in our basement where we do podcasting and some musical work. We use these a lot when we do musical work cuz we like the sound quality that they help us with. They're actually really easy to use and while we change out our tiles depending on what we do we have used the adhesives on the back and their adhesive quality is very good. Over all their functionality is great and I would definitely recommend them in the future.

These panels are good (only) for reducing echo.
If you're knowledgeable about such things, you wouldn't expect any panels like these to be for "soundproofing", that is, keeping outside sounds out, but rather for reducing echo in the room, to improve sound quality, either for listening or for recording. For example, if you record a podcast, putting these up on the wall behind and/or opposite you can make a big difference in how clear it sounds. Likewise, if your room is generally too reflective (most are), you will probably hear an improvement in clarity (especially voices) when you listen to music or movies. They are really pretty, IMHO. I had been holding off on getting absorptive panels until I found ones my wife wouldn't find objectionable. They come in minimal packaging about 10"x12"x4", wrapped in clear plastic, with thin cardboard top and bottom. Mine arrived in perfect condition.I would give them 5 stars, except that many people will probably expect them to be good for soundproofing, since it says that twice in the product description, and that is just not what these are good for.

VERY NICE!
There are perfect for my rental house. I am a drummer and I noticed that the sounds travels through the window A LOT! I stuck some of these on and it work amazingly! It's white on both sides so it matches my white blinds when looking at all the window from outside. It also creates a very pretty hue in the room when the sun hits the panels just right. I tried taking one off for review sake and it did leave gluey residue but nothing a tape wouldn't fix. All you need to do is take a little bit of electrical tape or painters tape, stick it to the left over sticky stuff, and pull it off. It peels right off with no damage! Highly recommend!
