KastKing Centron Lite Fishing Rod and Reel Combo, Baitcaster & Spinning

The KastKing Centron Lite Fishing Rod and Reel Combo is honestly one of the best budget setups you can get. For the price, the quality is way better than expected. The rod is lightweight but still strong enough to handle solid fish, and the sensitivity is actually impressive for feeling bites. The reel is smooth, casts well, and feels balanced with the rod right out of the box. What really stands out is how beginner-friendly it is without feeling cheap. It’s not some toy setup — it’s a legit fishing combo that can handle real use on the water. I’ve put it through tough fishing trips and it keeps performing without issues. If you’re getting into fishing or just want a reliable backup combo that won’t break the bank, this is an easy recommendation.

I’ve been very impressed with Kastking, landed my PB rainbow with this rod and reel. The action is incredibly smooth, I’ve also been very impressed with how tough it is. I’m not easy on gear and this thing has held up quite well. Tough to beat for the money.

This is my favorite rod by far, i use it whenever I go fishing, it has caught me some good catfish and bass.

Better than expected, stability is perfect size to fish for average small to medium even large fighter fish. Light and sensative. Price is afforabdle. medium heavy action. No misssing parts, came in new and neatly cared. Would buy another one if needed.

I've purchased 5 different Kastking rod and reel combos this year. I became a huge fan because the quality seemed really great, especially on the reels. This combo was no different and I loved using it but I went to set the hook yesterday and the rod snapped into multiple pieces. I have only had it for about 2.5 months and have used it quite a bit but I store it in a rod sleeve and don't abuse it so I'm baffled as to why it would break while not under incredible stress or abuse. I haven't reached out to them to see if they'll warranty it or not but I doubt it. I'll report back if they do. Edit: Their warranty department was great to work with and they covered the rod without any question.

I love this rod and reel. It is my new favorite rod and reel to use. Nice fast smooth casting. I have big hands, (size 13 ring) so I wish the center was as big as the top part of the handle. I just place my hand up under the reel. Honestly the only reason I bought this was because I wanted a white rod and this combo was the best color combo for me that i found. I am not disappointed for buying this at all.

Decent rod, broke on me when I hook set a decent bass. Hopefully they have rod tips for sale or this was a waste. Edit. They reached out to me and were eager to send me a new rod. Solid customer service so I am editing my review. Hope it was just a bad batch and this new rod lasts longer.

I received this package and it only came with the rod! Was extremely disappointed, reached out to Kastking and they made it right and quickly! Its light and smooth combo couldn’t be happier! Amazing customer service will be spending much more on their products!

WOW what an amazing combo at a great price! The action on it is so smooth and I've caught up to 18lb Pike so far on it and nothing has broken. It's easy enough to maintain too. Win in my books

Fantastic rod very happy with it looks sexy feels sexy and works perfect for small fish, the spinner for it is very smooth and with the rod you can feel ever little detail you want, not sure how it handles bigger stronger fish yet but once I hook one I’ll update this review.
