An Amazing Folk Song Collection!
This book of easy piano lead sheets follows the same format as the others in the series. Simple music in a clear format. It goes beyond most folk song books with selections from a very diverse range of countries, background information on each song, and even some illustrations from historical sources! The "how to play" sections are perfect both for players just starting out and those who want to level up their skills. You need this one in your music library!

This is an easy-to-read and well-compiled collection of World Folk Songs written in lead sheet format. I like the larger print of the text and notation. The authors have also included background about the music, which creates a more contextualized learning experience. I especially like how each song is written in two formats: treble clef melody + chord symbols (including text), and lyrics + chord symbols. The treble clef notation also includes some fingerings, which is helpful for beginning students. Highly recommend this as a resource!
