The Amosfun Sizzle Platter Set arrived neatly packaged in a printed cardboard box. In the set you get a 19cm cast iron cooking pan and a matching wooden protective base. The cast iron construction offers even heat distribution and can be used directly on the stove for cooking, while the non-stick surface makes it easy to clean and also prevents food from sticking. The design of the set means that you can go directly from the cooker to the tabletop with your cooked food. A nice little set for the home cook.

My local Indian restaurant used to serve chicken tikka on a sizzle plate and I always loved how it arrived sizzling and kept warm while you worked your way through all the side dishes. Cook on it or just heat it up on the hob and use it to serve. Great for steaks, fry ups, chicken tikka of course and anything else you want to serve hot. Used a few times now and no signs of rust, I season it the same as I would any other cast iron cookware though. Good value as it's quite a heafty lump of metal with a nice wooden platter.
