I bought these canvas patches to reinforce and customize a utility tool bag that I wanted to repurpose into a durable family tote, and they worked exactly as I’d hoped. The material is sturdy, easy to work with, and simple to cut into whatever shape or size you need. Even after regular use, the patches have held up well and show no signs of pulling loose or wearing out. One thing I learned the hard way: make sure you cut the canvas rather than trying to tear it. I absentmindedly ripped a few sections and ended up with loose threads that required extra trimming. Once I switched to cutting everything cleanly, the results looked much more professional. Overall, these patches were ridiculously easy to use, durable, and exactly what I needed for my project. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy them again as I think they drastically improved the look.

Ok so I wanted to wait for a few days of this being on my grow tent before I made a honest review, so here it is: I got this 3 days ago and cut it as close to the center by eyeing it as I could so I could cover the seams of my grow tent plus a bit past it on each side for the corners where they tent to get light leaks especially if you add the poles from vivosun that are for high cfm fans to keep from sucking the sides of the grow tent inward. I know they absolutely will cause a light leaks especially because that’s positively why I bought 2 rolls of this 4x79” for the corners of my new Spider Farmer tent that it did it to plus the 3 pin holes that I could find in pitch black. I had no light leaks before installing the braces but this has fixed those flawlessly. I basically made 4 corner strips with about 1ft extra in length since I didn’t go from the very top to the bottom but within a few inches of each. I folded it over each corner by doing 1/2 at a time and getting the top started and then starting the bottom while pulling it tight to make sure it didn’t have any creases. Then once I had it on all four corners I went back over the corners by pinching the fabric patch material to the tent material as I ran by hand up/ down the seam to seal it as good as possible. I did that the next morning again with the “pinching and pulling etc” to make sure it was holding the tent as well as possible and it was fine. I came out this morning and repeated the pinching process and it looks great. It’s almost the exact color of my grow tent and feels like identical products when rubbing your fingers across them. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase and will be buying another roll to fix a pop up hunting blind that I tore a huge hole in last year. After 3 days of it sitting next to an air conditioner and going from humid to dry and back again in the house that I’m confident that this tape will work for my needs and if you have something similar to my situation to repair I’d give this a try before throwing away anything I thought I could fix with this fabric tape. I can’t say what it would do outside but so far inside my home it’s holding on the grow tent no problem. Would recommend and absolutely would/ will buy again.

Good quality, great price and good color match for my needs. This gear tape brought new life to my old beach umbrella and the color matched really well too. The tape adheres well and is easy to cut.

Went on easy, despite instructions being covered up by an Amazon sticker. Nice job Amazon!! And instructions don’t say which side of the canvas to apply patch. Would recommend really pressing down on the fabric & tape with a roller. I used a short piece of pvc. And apply in dry, warmer weather Now comes the test: How long will it last ?

I've used these nylon repair patches on ripped snow pants, ski jacket, and even my tent. These patches work great. Used small pieces on outdoor window treatments to allow air through. They were easy to cut to size, the fabric is thick & the adhesive seems strong. Exactly what I was looking for.

Do not adhere well.

I fixed torn North Face jacket with this patch. So far so good. Color is close enough. it is impossible to match color perfectly. I recommend this product.

Modèle respecté. Tissu autocollant bien tissé serré. Colle vraiment bien. J’en ai mis sur mon tapis autocollant là où l'on pose les talons en conduisant et c'est nickel ! Ne se décolle pas, très résistant.
