A Star Wars fan should be quite happy with it
Got it on sale and it made it an exceptional value. The world building and details for Star Wars is all there. The major allure for me is the beautiful detail, landscapes, and lore. The gameplay is fun and relatively progressive in how you upgrade, but it takes time. With the world hopping across planets it can sort of feel more like separate sandboxes and similar to some assassin’s creed games. It’s a lot of fun, but don’t expect perfected contentment in every mission and some details such as the jedi lore and other aspects of the Star Wars universe are missing. They got it mostly right and the key locations in the game are quite perfected. The look and sounds are next gen even the gameplay lags behind with somr tired mechanics.

I'm Playstation for life...and I love the Star Wars series. Still working through the game, and enjoying it. I just wish there was more Lightsaber play...just a preference.

OK game, not great, characters are not likeable.
Cal Kestis and crew were likeable, these characters are not. Technically a good game, underwhelming story typical of Disney Star Wars. It is worth the current price of $30, no more than that.

Great Game - a very immersive Star Wars experience
The attention to detail that went into creating Star Wars: Outlaws is quite impressive. Particularly the Mos Eisley Cantina and Jabba's Palace on the planet Tatooine. That, "wretched hive of scum and villainy" to paraphrase Obi Wan Kenobi. Mini games such as the Quicktime food eating events, Lockpicking and Slicing computer terminals have added to my enjoyment of the game as a whole. I've even started to get into the Photo Mode recently. Tatooine's twin suns setting on the horizon were just too picturesque to miss the moment. I highly recommend this game for Star Wars enthusiasts and those who love the freedom of open world games. Looking forward to the Season Pass content when it's released.
