I will start by saying that this is a great, compact piece of tech. Along with the functionality of the geiger counter, you have an EMF meter, a feature to measure water hardness, and a feature to measure the level of nitrates in a variety of different foods; those being fruits, vegetables, and meats (including fish). I have read complaints about the battery life being short, and thus far I have not noticed that, but as with anything that could be subject to change. I power mine off by holding the "OK" button when I'm not using it to conserve battery life. One thing I did notice, however, is that the clock does not stay current; for instance, say that I set it for 9:30 at 9:30 in the morning, and I turn the unit back on at 2:15 pm. The clock will say something like 11:20. This is my only criticism of the product, and I do not believe this to be worthy of a drop to four stars since this is a trivial feature. All in all, I would absolutely recommend this unit. If you're on the fence, I say go for it! If it doesn't work for you, you can always return it.

I cannot attest on the accuracy of this unit but it was working reasonably well until put in storage for a while. After pulling out of the shelf it was turning on but only working for about a minute and then shut itself off. I fully charged it but that didn't help. Battery apparently are not made to be replaced as it is quite hard to disassemble the unit. But after taking back cover I realized it's just a pair of AAA rechargeable. I just plugged in regular Batts and it is working fine. I still have yet to hear from customer service. Price is quite steep for the product imo, there are better options around

I love mine. I have carried it for years now. I have since put velcro on the back and keep it on the dash of my truck facing me. Only 2 minor complaints. The rechargeable battery discharges quickly, so I keep it plugged in the charging port. Also the test probe cap on it easily falls off and it is a necessary part. There is a small switch that detects when the cap is removed and automatically switches to the nitrate tester. So do not lose the cap.

Ok, the problem I had was that there was no sound for radiation, no click or tick, it is just silent, and yes the sound settings were set to “on”. Defective unit and returned. Order new one from the official store “SOEKS USA” It cost more but for good reason, the firmware was current and it was not a refurbished or returned units, it was new, relatively speaking. The lates firmware updates were released over 4 years ago and the batteries are much older then that. 0: Don’t be surprised, just buy new batteries before or while purchasing SOEKS! I recommend 2x AAA, Panasonic eneloop, 800 mAh. The included batteries are generic, they say 950 mAh but didn’t do that when they were new! A real set of 800 mAh AAA batteries will triple or quadruple your battery life. 1: background radiation does fluctuate, several times a minute and that is a normal phenomenon. 2: The unit is supposed to keep measuring background radiation even when you’re using the other functions. While using the other functions the rad levels will still be visible in the bottom right hand corner of the screen. 3: newer firmware has more foods, languages and bug fixes (polish added) 4. When measuring nitrates the food list is for applying proper offsets to account for a particular foods average moisture content and acidity levels. It shows you the foods known natural nitrate levels along with the actual levels measured. This unit compensates for temperature making nitrate testing much more accurate than other brands. 5: TDS total dissolved solids is a helpful indication to not drink a water but should not be depended on to determine if water is safe to drink! Low levels of dissolved solids DOES NOT MEAN SAFE WATER!!! example: very low levels of arsenic or lead would be much worse for you than very high levels of calcium. And then there are biological organisms to consider. 6: Do not insert probe into baby! even though it says to do so, see attached photo. I think they probably mean baby food or formula. lol.

I like that I can check for water hardness & nitrate levels in the food! I carry this tool with me when I visit new places/museums to verify the background radiation is within normal. I also took this on an airplane to verify it actually does change radiation exposure readings.... yep it sure does! Bring additional batteries or a portable battery bank with you (connect with micro-usb cable). The GM tube uses the extra power. Battery changeout is super easy and no additional tools are needed. For the water testing: I compared SOEKS readings with the Water quality analysis reports from several different municipalities and sure enough my readings were within 15% of what the city said. I use the SOEKS piece of equipment with my thermal imager when I visit other peoples homes (with their permission) to seek out unknown issues they may be having. Radon, iridium (from their water), water leaks, roof leaks, EMF from power lines, cell towers and I also check the veggies they grow for nitrates, for their own peace of mind. Older concrete buildings/fallout shelters have higher background rad levels, newer homes have higher EMF readings. Very useful, compact, and has a lot of options. I have not and most likely will not download the "manual" from SOEKS website. 126mb seems pretty high for a pdf user manual. Additionally, it is downloaded from google drive, which will not virus check a file of that size. Thanks for reading! -Satisfied user

I love this device. My son and I and shopkeepers and other parents from the school all are amazed at the wealth of information Soeks 4 in 1 provides. We live in a country they cheat left right and center with everything....well not with this gadget at hand. Just beware the findings may be shocking as to what you have been led to believe is so pure and healthy. Its a fun and productive device to have, we use it often and now have a sure system of what to eat and drink where and when for good health.

Misuratore e valido ma come si puo spedire un oggetto con manuale solo in Russo e Tedesco? Sembrava uno scherzo quando ho apperto la confezione. Manuale d'uso e fondamentale in questo caso, perche spiega come usare vari funzioni ma anche come interpretare I risultati. Non pretendo istruzioni in Italiano, ma Inglese dovrebbe essere minimo. Ho perso il tempo cercando su internet, ovviamente in inglese, come usare il misuratore. Penso che e poco onesto da parte di venditore che non lo specifica che istruzioni il cliente si deve procurare da solo.
