I LOVE this salt jar! I debated it for quite a while before finally purchasing, but I'm so glad I did. It looks great on a wooden tray near my stove with other spices. It is a solid jar, but not too heavy to use easily. It holds a lot of salt, which means I don't have to refill often. The best feature is the material - being made of clay, it helps pull moisture out of the jar, so my salt never clumps or sticks together.

This is a great salt container that I use everyday. I have had it for almost a half of a year and I am very pleased to have bought this!! Very good quality, has some weight to it, but certainly not too heavy! The lid makes it, the size is just right and the salt does not clump as a result of the clay pot (which I believe helps collect the moisture). I have had other salt containers (I use kosher salt almost exclusively) and they have always clumped, which is bothersome to me. I would buy this again in an instant! Highly recommend and it’s attractive in our kitchen! One of my favorite buys of 2025!

I really enjoy having this Henry Watson salt jar in my kitchen. I store Diamond brand Kosher salt in it, and the jar keeps the salt perfectly. I never experience clumping salt with this jar. This pretty terracotta jar with its distinctive logo is sturdy, and seems to require no care. However, since it is terracotta I'm always mindful of how I handle it.
