Works well at a decent price. I appreciate the pill being smaller than a lot of competitors, helps when you're trying to take a bunch when you're very dairy sensitive like myself.

Hoped this brand would work as well as a more known, popular brand and it does . Review is for: Vitamatic Lactase Enzyme 9000 FCC. Only one tablet offers a full 9000 ALU - in a search, ALU is attributed to the quantity of lactase enzyme and its effectiveness in breaking down lactose... 9000 seems standard in most effective products However, some brands achieve this level by consuming 2 or 3 tablets at a time...wasting money. I chose a brand offering 9000 PER every 1 tablet, and they are small and easy to swallow. No weird taste on the tongue. No weird smell. Non-gmo. Made in the USA. 240 tablets per bottle. Great price for the quality and quantity. Effective. Will buy again...these will last me quite awhile as I don't eat a lot of dairy in general. Highly recommend. When I consumed a lot of dairy, eventually I needed more assistance in breaking down the lactose. My doctor recommended I took 1, 9000 lactase enzyme tablet before my first bite, 1 in the middle of my dairy-prominent meal, and 1 at the end. This was effective for me back when consuming more dairy every day

These work well if you take them before you eat something that has dairy in it. The pills are effective in preventing discomfort and bloating.

I have been lactose intolerant my whole life . . . but didn’t know what was causing my symptoms until I was around 10. I just avoided milk products as best I could. It was nearly impossible to avoid them altogether, however, especially with my love of cheese and ice cream, so there were many days I suffered miserably after eating. The first time I tried lactose enzymes changed my life. I was able to eat Mexican food, pizza, & frozen yogurt with little to no issue. I have tried many brands of lactase enzymes over the years, and Vitamatic was definitely one of the better ones. The price is fair and it kept my symptoms at bay. The only real complaint I have is that the directions say to take one tablet per day, but doesn't really specify if you need to take another each time you consume dairy. It also mentions that you are supposed to drink 8 to 12 Oz of water with each tablet. Most instructions are more clear-cut . . . If it's a "one a day" supplement, it will say that *clearly* on the front label. With this brand, it's hard to be sure, so I have always taken one with every meal, because lactose intolerance symptoms are MISERABLE! The tablets are tiny, which is really nice, and compact, not powdery like some, and they seem to work well enough. This is not my go-to brand, but I would probably buy again if I needed them in a hurry.

I just ate ice cream for the first time in 13 years! I haven’t been able to eat ice cream since I was 19 due to my lactose intolerance. I was always too scared of taking medication to help with digesting delaying effect. This medication gave me no side effects at all and I was able to eat a scoop of cookies and cream ice cream! It felt like unlocking a new flavor being able to eat ice cream again. I’m so happy I can finally enjoy ice cream with my boyfriend at restaurants now and baseball games. Yay :)

I go through a *lot* of lactase. The usual foil packets of the stuff are great for portability, but it was annoying to have to get each individual packet open every single time I wanted to eat some ice cream or put cheese on my sandwich at home. I can't tell you how many times I accidentally dropped my pills or even broke them while opening the tiny foil packets! Every so often I would get fed up with this and look to see if I could just buy a bottle of tablets, and I would inevitably discover that any lactase supplement that came in bulk instead of in packets, listed mannitol in the ingredients. Like many people who regularly take lactase, I have IBS, and like many people with IBS, ingesting mannitol (or any other sugar alcohol) causes the same exact kind of pain & bloating I'm trying to prevent by taking lactase in the first place! But this stuff? Has NO mannitol. None! It has the exact same ingredients and dosage as Lactaid Fast Act, but without the annoying packets, and the tablets are round instead of oblong, so they don't crumble or break. AND, because it comes in bulk, it's cheaper per dose than anything I've found in foil packets! Only by a couple of cents, but when you're taking 4+ doses a day, that can add up. This bottle is only $1 more than the biggest box of packets I've found, but it contains 25% more doses (240 vs 180), so not only is it cheaper, it'll last me longer! I'll still use the packets when I'm not at home, but now that they're no longer my only option, I find them much less frustrating to deal with.

Perfect for anyone with a lactose intollerence! They are maximum strength, great value for money compared to the rest of the market and there are lots of tablets in there. I reccomend getting one of those small pill holders to store them on your keyrings.
