I found them to be roomy. they are tight, but they do stretch, like regular nylons. I love them.

Yes, your veins will not be visible. However, the compression is fairly strong which makes them difficult to get on, and a lot of work when you use the restroom. You can get compression pantyhose with less compression which I believe would still do the same thing.
