Substantial Equipment w/Metal Parts
Researched Ryobi, Ego & this brand with Ai & using all my required add on equipment & goals. This was highly praised over the other because it is tailored for professional maintenance crews & therefore does not have alot of breakable plastic parts to wear out; it also came in well under budget compared to Ego, with Ryobi complaints very high on breaking parts. Took the plunge.... just unpacked the power mower and used it on my front lawn. Accidentally hit the turbo button and it took off! Power assist at the "turtle" level is a nice slow walk... good weight and I have a steep incline.... it worked like a champ! Would highly recommend! Like the dual battery feature as well.

Love, Love, Love This Greenworks Mower
You won't go wrong buying this battery-powered mower, at least in my case. We bought this Greenworks 25", 60 volt battery-powered mower a couple of months ago when it went on sale at Amazon. It came in a big box, so be prepared. Easy to unbox and put together. This mower is definitely much lighter than a gas-powered mower. Very easy to use. I wasn't sure at first because it performs so differently, but with consistent use, I was able to figure out its quirks and maneuvered it without difficulty. I am 4'11" tall and found that the lower handle adjustment (it has two positions) was perfect for me. I also found that when making a turn, it is better to take it out of self-propelled drive just by releasing the lever. Made it very easy to make a turn without the wheels digging into the lawn. Press the lever again, and you are off and running. I have a number of hills and valleys to maneuver and it performs with no difficulty. You can distinguish when one of the batteries empties by witnessing a slight "surge" noise in the power. I can get about an hour or two out of the two batteries. I love the 25" wide deck, as it cut the cutting time in half compared to the gas one. What I really like is how easy it is to store when I collapse the handle. Before storing it, it is a must that you clean the under-carriage of debris and mud/dirt. I also have the same voltage Greenworks weed wacker (which is also a lightweight gem), so I can interchange batteries. The landscape picture is a third of our property. My husband is particularly enamored because he doesn't have to cut the lawn/moss anymore!

Overall Decent mower
Mower arrived quickly!! Easy to put together - minimal steps. This is my second time ordering this mower. I ordered one 2 1/2 years ago and the first one already quit on me. The first one worked well until it didn't which was very disappointing. I also ordered the smaller version (21") a number of years ago that lasted me 5 seasons so, I expected the bigger mower (25") to do the same, but it didn't. So, I decided to give this brand the benefit of a doubt and order a second 25" and hope it lasts longer this time. That being said, it is a great mower (when it works). It is powerful and the battery life is substantial. And since there are (2) batteries onboard, when one needs recharging I can put it on the charger and continue cutting the rest of the yard with the other battery. Overall I really like this 25" mower which is why I ordered the second one (replacement) with the hopes that it will last longer this time. That is why I only gave 4 stars - the first one just didn't meet my expectations in terms of dependability.

Very pleased
We recently downsized and needed a smaller mower than our big zero-turn. I am glad I decided on this one. The self-propelled feature is great and the speed is highly adjustable. Having it available for getting the mower moving from a standstill or to get up a grade is very helpful. On the flat, it is light enough to push if you wish. The mulching feature with no grass discharge is great. The grass gets chopped very finely because it is forced to remain under the mower. The batteries recharge very quickly; when the first is out, I put it in the charger and continue with the second. By the time the second battery is out, the first is recharged and I can keep mowing without waiting. It is quite powerful but plan on using a lot of battery power if the grass is thick or tall. It is easy to store and it’s cool that you can tip it onto its front end to save space. One of the many benefits of having no liquid in a machine … There is only one improvement I would make. There is a self-propel engagement lever for each hand and either one will move the mower. This is an all-or-nothing, on-or-off proposition. I wish I could operate either side of the mower independently as I could the zero-turn. If you want to mow a curve, you have to push it on your own because both wheels are powered equally and there is no way to slow the wheel traveling the shorter distance.

good product, works well
First, I'm a senior citizen and have owned many mowers over the years. Just purchased and made my first cut with this my first battery powered mower. Very easy unboxing and setup. Charge batteries, insert and push the button. My yard is half acre with about 15-18k square feet to mow. Used just less than one battery to mow entire yard. Never needed to use 2nd battery. Cut was great....no lines....no little balls of clippings...very smooth even cut on mulch mode. Have not use bagging yet. The self propel speed is adequate. I like to walk fast and the top speed setting is the same as my current Honda mower. The slow-medium speed settings are very slow. The only negative I found is, like others say, the mower hesitates about 2 seconds to pull back when mowing around bushes, trees, etc. when you need to pull straight back, if you release the self propel handle 3-4 feet from the end of row, that solves the problem. Also, the self propel handles seem to be a little flimsy for long term use. The collapsible handle is great and the ability to store on its side saves a lot of garage space. The 25" cut is nice compared to my Honda 21 inches. Appears to be solidly built and if is trouble free like my gas Honda has been for past 7 years, this will be a nice yard work investment. Highly recommend.

Turned out not to good
So far it does the job. Until a few weeks later the height adjustment lever broke. And come to find out green works don't sell parts. Don't try to call you will not get anyone I was on the phone for 2 hours and 46 minutes no one never came to the phone I went online I tried there I got the machine telling me how what help do I need over and over and I never got help I went online I did a search nothing came up someone had some spare parts from maybe a machine they bought on eBay but I decided not to buy it I had to take napkin wrap it around the handle and tape it in order for me to hold it and move it That's a 7 weeks lawn mower I bought at $600 can you believe it.

Powerful mower
This product is light, easy to store, runs well, charges quickly. I used it twice since I bought it and like the way it handles. You do need to know that the instruction manual is not very legible, and the photos are not really good. My particular problem was how to release the battery from the mower. The battery has no handles, and the release lever is not marked or colored differently from the rest of the mower body and is hard to detect. After searching your YouTube videos and website sales pitches I could not find ANYTHING relating to a battery release. I hope in the future when I need to speak to a company representative, I will be able to get a reply. Needless to say, less pitches more help. Color your release RED. I regret making a one-star review of this portion of my review.

Great electric lawn mower
Five stars for a reason. Great working lawn mower without the need for gas refills. The speed and value are worth the cost.

This big boi gets the job done!
Only a couple of mows in, but so far this has been a great mower for us. The 25 inch mow is amazing, and the metal case is thinner than our old mower with plastic, which has the effect of getting the cutting surface closer to the edge of the mower. This, combined with the dual blades allowing the case to fit between the tires, means a mow right up to the edge. The dual batteries work well, and seem to have power to spare, and the quick dual charger gets them going again quickly, so I could see this being good for, sae, a kid making extra money mowing in his neighborhood. The unit is, however, quite heavy, so if getting it around involves any lifting, this might be a problem for some people.

The best battery lawn mower I've owned so far !
I’m very happy with this battery lawn mower. The blade was super easy to assemble, and it comes with two batteries. It takes about 45 minutes to mow my lawn and uses only around 40% of one battery, so the autonomy is excellent. The battery charger is very efficient. The noise level is very reasonable, it looks great, and works very well overall. Definitely recommended!
