This lock looks good and works well. I hired a locksmith to install it and he was impressed with the quality of the lock as well.

It's high-time I finally reviewed this thing after installing two-years ago. Previous lock was a Kwikset electronic lock from home depot that was very loud. Pros: The Yale lock install was easy. Batteries last awhile, about 6 months or more depending on how much we use the lock. Mechanism is quieter than previous electronic locks we've used and the lock is very smooth. Cons: Touchscreen is so-so. Looks sleek, however I do miss-press on occasion. The features on this thing are a large reason for the price but we had to turn many of them off. The audible "door locked" is annoying late at night when the house is sleeping. The 'one-touch locking' results in many accidental locks before closing the door, which has damaged our door trim a bit. The auto-locking feature is nice sometimes, but other times it sucks to take the garbage out to come back to a locked door. Overall: Worth the buy for how it looks alone. I may replace for the version with actual buttons, but I would stay with Yale.

We have put this on the door that leads into the house from the garage. It wasn’t difficult to install, but if we had understood to purchase the upgraded one first - which allows for easier code changing for different people that would have been nice. They make a part you can install in lock, but then have to remove and reinstall. And I’m not sure we even understand that right.

We bought these "smart" keypads for our home by the beach where we also host guests on occasion. They have been installed by a professional handyman to make sure there would be no hiccups. To say our experience with Yale is a disappointment is a major understatement ! 1. Beware these locks do not have any remote capability without a WiFi bridge and module. And each lock needs its own WiFi bridge/module. Those bridges only connect on 2.4Gh networks and regularly disconnects 2. some essential functions are not accessible remotely. To simply turn on/off auto-lock you need to be present and use your BT connection 3. If you program a temporary code for a guest, it will pick on the time zone you are in and not where the lock is registered 4. Now we get to where things go really bad, it's the complete lack of RELIABILITY of these devices. The locks regularly disconnected and needed a full reset several times. Because the bridge needed to be so close to the lock and is so sensitive to interference it took us some figuring out to find a spot where they operate with only minor inconvenience (still disconnect but reconnects itself without reset). We had to return one lock and one WiFi bridge because they stopped working. That simple! Then one keypad just got dead after 5 months and we had to call a locksmith to get in ($184 out of our pocket). For those thinking it, it was not the batteries...plain dead, unresponsive keypad and no key hole. Then last night another keypad started acting out and refused to engage a valid code. And remotely opening the door didn't work...All Yale customer service is their apologies and send a new lock. STAY AWAY from those keyless locks, they will cause you more troubles than anything. Will replace the three of them with a Schlage, never Yale again !

It took a few years to convince my wife we really needed one. I purchased Yale because of the Amazon ratings. It was easy to install and is easy to use. Now I don't have a problem if I leave and forget a door key which did happen once. I only use lithium batteries which eliminates frequent changing of the batteries.

Love it! I've owned 5 other keyless locks in other homes and this is my favorite. The lock is very responsive (ie. quick to unlock) and just looks good. Understated. Locksmith installed for me and he was impressed too.

This lock is great. Especially for those looking to have their homes be accessible even when they are not there. Setup and features met all my expectations. I’d recommend it to others.

Excelente producto, es muy resistente incluso en la intemperie. 25 códigos son mas que suficientes, viene con el conector para escalarlo. El manual es muy claro para configurarlo.

Encantado con esta chapa, solo contempla que para esta opción necesitas comprar adicionalmente el módulo Yale compatible para que lo puedas controlar con el cel. Fuera de ese detalle que tiene un costo adicional todo me ha funcionado muy bien y cumple con lo esperado
