Chose this camera so that I would not have wires hanging down for power. Quality of everything looks really good. Plastic and shape match original close enough. Mounted the rear camera on the passenger side. Ran the wire down and along floor instead of overhead. This was due to mainly my ability to get wire in behind trim, as the overhead route seemed more direct but was tighter between the headliner and trim pieces. Had just the right amount of wire so i will credit that to luck. The short adapter wire for power plugged in and was easy to tuck in/around existing hardware/mirror. The only problem was getting the new camera and plastic snapped back into place. I worked on this three different times, quitting when I would get tired ( having to lean over and work above your head takes a toll after 10-15 minutes). As others have stated in their reviews, it appeared to me that the four tabs that are inserted back into the truck are fatter than what comes original. I finally took the piece back off and verified it. I measured tabs at .060” versus .105-.110” thickness. I believe they would go if you were sure that everything was lined up and you forced it. But it was kinda cold and I was afraid to. I used a Dremel with a small metal deburing bit to just lightly remove the sharp edges and round everything off. Probably didn’t go below .100” on any of the four tabs. Returned to truck and plugged wires back in. Found the rear passenger side tab, as it was the one I could see and got it to snap right in. After a slight wiggle to make sure everything was lined up, the other three popped right in place. I then clipped in the smaller rear piece behind the mirror stem and I was in business. Had no problem finding or hooking my iPhone to camera. Overall, I am happy with purchase and would recommend others purchase it, provided they are patient for any problems encountered due to out of spec parts.

After hooking everything up, I can never get the app to hook up to my phone. Took it into my mechanics. They went back through it and still could not get the app to hook up to my phone. Very disappointed.

Works well in my 2023 Sierra SLT crew cab. Had to go through some contortions trying to get all the wiring back in the camera/mirror housing but eventually got it once I realized how the housing snaps in. I wired the rear camera across the driver side windshield then down the corner column. Be careful when you remove the column cover as there is an airbag in there. I easily removed the side dash trim and ran the wire down to, then along, the driver's inside rocker panel cover. Through the rear seat foot area and up behind the rear seat. I ended up with about 9 inches of wire to spare. So far everything works well, including the wifi and downloads to my phone.

Purchased for my new 2025 GMC 3500 Denali. Works perfect. Listing shows up to model year 2024 but it works fine on a 2025 (NON ELECTRIC MODEL). Easy install, plug and play. Don't even know the front camera is there and the rear one is offset due to the sliding rear window but it displays just fine.

Unreliable product - Sketchy Design This thing records to the memory card great for the first iteration. Then it stops recording because the card is full. You figure out the rest. Right, it doesn’t overwrite the previous recordings. You can however get in line with the enlightened ones who say just reformat the card every so often. The best part… You will not know this until your product return window has passed. Useless garbage.

I like the ease of installation, and the Oem look afterward. I did have issues with my order(It was cancelled twice for no reason), and the omission in the description about the rearview camera. I assumed it used my stock camera, but this is not the case. They provide a separate camera for this and the wire has to be run from there to the back of your vehicle.
