I especially like the design of this quick release buckle: the release mechanism slides into place and locks. You have to press the release button on the buckle to slide it out of the part that attaches to the camera. This tongue and groove design is very reliable and sturdy: very unlikely to lead to accidentally detaching the strap from the buckle.

A necessity if using a neck strap.

I have a couple of cameras and use them in different settings: Handheld, tripod, and gimbal. The challenge is the strap. It's a must-have for handholding the camera, whether wrapped around the wrist or slung over a shoulder, but on a tripod, it gets in the way, and it's completely impractical on a gimbal.These quick-release solve that. They're a 2-step release: slide the lick up, then separate the pieces sideways. I like that the directional release requires two different moves. Even if the lock didn't engage, the side release means they won't automatically fall apart.I'm not a huge fan of quick release on expensive gear, but the locks on these require a little effort, so I'm not concerned about them accidentally being engaged.

I have this set connected to my small Sony RX 100V, the locking mechanism is 2 step system so I know that my camera is secure, well made with good quality materials, easy to attach and looks great!
