Book is written very good. It is easy to learn from and it is not boring as a manual. I purchased Quickbooks 2017 from Amazon and I have Windows 10 and every example is the way it is. NO variations!! GREAT. It is a good book for beginners as you follow the way the book is written.

quicken software sucks. the book can help.
loosy quicken. quicken sucks to do real invoices and expenses and income. you can not crerate a report you need. you can only modify there stuupid reports. the book is ok. but not enough examples.

I’ve found this QB16 manual to be very helpful. I’d used QB in the past but my current employer has a more recent version. So some aspects of recording transactions are handled a bit differently. This book allows me to obtain explanations on a case by case basis. My only complaint is that the thinner paper and smaller font is not ideal for me since I am farsighted. But that is not a huge issue since with reading glasses I can get the answers I need.
