Great results
From a purely aesthetic perspective, this is great. It covered rust in one coat. I applied two for good measure. I don’t plan to burn in my fireplace (electric) but it restored the very old cast iron to a great appearance. Would absolutely buy again. One note: it is quite strong smelling on application. Even more than typical spray paint, I’d recommend taking ventilation precautions.

Durability
Spray painted my stove grates and grill several months ago. So far they’re holding up well. I’ve put them in the dishwasher several times and puts pots and pans on them many times and still the finish is intact, no staining, peeling or flaking, however, I do anticipate have to touch them up at some point. The finish is a nice durable matte black. I recommend using this quality high heat paint over some cheaper spray. This is a job you want to do right the first time.

Great quick remodel
I’ve been using this to touch up everything. My fireplace outside, and inside, our grill, etc. Mind you, my fireplace was gold. This covered it like butter. I tried it on my outside one too that rusted after a year and that looks brand spanking new again, only problem is you need to ventilate. The smell is so strong like any other spray can, it can be intense. Prepare to ventilate after spraying for atleast 5 hours, unless you can take your project outside. No peeling or bubbling problem yet…

Looks awesome!
Worked great! Followed the other posters and made my husband use a mask. It was potent, we had to open all the sliders and turn the fans on but it looks great. One can did the entire fireplace. Wish I went with the matte tho instead of the satin but I still like it.

Easy application and looks great!
Great for the pellet stove and made it look brand new. Didn’t chip or fade at all after the first season of burning pellets 16 hours a day.
