This battery did fit my Dyson cordless vacuum. I charged it up and used it ONCE. Then plugged it in to charge again. NOPE! It didn't take a charge. I tried several power outlets...didn't matter. So I either got a lemon or this battery was faulty. I returned it and got a full refund.

This battery and filter really saved my mom's vacuum and her wallet. She thought she was going to need to get a new vacuum because the battery was "hardwired" in her mind. Obviously it's not and I was able to fix it just fine for her. She's very happy that she has more than 2-5 minutes of vacuuming again and the filter helped her out so much too, it looks and feels OEM and solved that annoying message that she was getting and that it would turn off the vacuum afterwards. Battery would not shut off, had to take filter off for it to shut off, battery died within a week

I'm very happy that I purchase this third party alternative because it saves me a lot of money in the long run from purchasing a first party item from Dyson themselves .Very easy to install and comes with a brush and the tools required to install it. Definitely recommendation for my books
