Yes, these packets are unsweetened and you have to add sugar. Although in my case, I add liquid stevia for zero-calorie Kool-Aid.

It is expensive since it is exotic flavors that they may not even make anymore. You cannot find them in stores so maybe this is limited supply in a warehouse somewhere.

Delivered late RUINED christmas party!

This is crazy that I cannot return this product as it was delivered late and subsequently RUINED my Christmas party themed drink! Unacceptable!

Not recommended for SodaStream water, but good flavor when sweetened

I didn't even know KoolAid came unflavored, but read online about decreasing sugar intake and used monkfruit sweetener instead. The sweetener didn't dissolve well, so I'll try liquid Stevia next. Attempts to just add the KoolAid powder directly to my SodaStream carbonated water left a somewhat sour taste.
