Extremely effective
Thin but works very well. I put them over my main hvac system and change it every day. I throw it in the regular washer and dryer and it works fine. It's crazy how fast it gets dirty because of everything it catches. I looked at a lot of different products. And I use this one on the outside and a merv 8 on the inside. But the merv 8 on the inside looks untouched and brand new because this filter catches everything.

Easily tears apart
It tears easily like thin paper, so I doubt that it would stand up to any kind of washing. Would be better off getting the proper Merv 13 filters.

good quality
there is enough filter product here to do several replacement filters. I used mine as a smoke filter over my portable AC intake. Worked immediately and after a really bad week of fire smoke you could clearly see the material trapped on the intake. Very satisified

It works great on our return air vent as we have dogs all the time, seems pretty good to catch dust and dog hair
