Snug fit for Porter Cable 18v Li-Ion tools. I was gifted two M18 Red 6.0 XC batteries that I thought I'd have no use for. What a pleasant surprise finding this. These will not allow the M18 Red battery to fit onto the Porter Cable charger, but luckily Amazon sells a third party M18 charger that is reasonably priced and great quality. Worthless. Worked for about 5 minutes and stopped. Couldn't find anything wrong with the plug or vehicle, it just wouldn't work.

Works good

This battery charger is pretty standard. A number of different brands are selling the exact same product off the same production line. They each include an identical insert in the box with instructions, but the instructions are for adapters that allow attachment to a different brand of tool. Fortunately, the instructions needed to make sense of the charger are printed on the decals used on the charger. I had difficulty in connecting and disconnecting the charger from generic batteries that I own. However, when used with actual Milwaukee brand M18 batteries, the charger fits on smoothly and removes easily. Charging is quick and ran cooler than I expected. That's good because this charger has very little heat management hardware. Thermal protection circuits should (hopefully) prevent anything from burning out, but I plan to add a heat sink to the back of the single mosfet in the circuit, and maybe a small fan as well. There is a surprising amount of space available inside the charger for how compact it is. I do appreciate how small it is and regularly carry it with me. Overall, I do not expect this charger to have a long life-span, but for under $20 that is no real surprise. The small size, light weight, and quick charging make this a worthwhile purchase at that price.

Highly Impressed with this cheap little charger! Charges all of my Milwaukee batteries very quickly and the charge last on the batteries as expected fraction of the price of Milwaukee brand highly recommended
