Don't expect a full refund if you get a bad laptop.
I bought a 16" LG laptop. Within a few weeks the charger could no longer charge the batteries. got a message that the charger (which came with the laptop) didn't have enough power to charge the laptop. I had to use 2 chargers to get the time to wipe the disc. So i sent it back. The refund I got (for a $1400 laptop) was over $200 short. i packed it very well, with lots of padding and styrofoam. They claim this $200 is a restocking fee. So .... I buy a laptop this fails within a few weeks and i get to pay over $200 for the experience. Not my idea of a good company policy.

I works, but it is disappointing
The display could be brighter, and the volume is very poor, even with the fixes I found and applied. My older Gram 17 was better in both respects

LG has horrible customer service and this laptop is garbage.
FYI, this was purchased from LG.com not amazon, but the exact same laptop. I am extremely disappointed with my experience with the LG Gram 16-inch Lightweight Laptop, both in terms of product quality and LG’s customer service. Within one month of purchase, the screen failed completely. The laptop was handled carefully, never dropped, and never subjected to any physical impact. Despite this, LG refused to honor the warranty, claiming the screen damage must have been caused by physical abuse. This accusation was made without any meaningful investigation and directly contradicts how the device was actually used. The most troubling part of this experience is LG’s complete unwillingness to stand behind a premium product—even when it was purchased directly from LG’s own website. Rather than supporting a customer with a clearly defective product, LG shifted blame and denied coverage outright. To add insult to injury, I was quoted over $500 to repair the screen on a laptop that was barely a month old. This raises serious concerns about the quality of the display itself. A laptop marketed as ultra-lightweight and premium should not suffer a catastrophic screen failure under normal use. If the screen is so fragile that it can fail without any impact, that is a design and manufacturing issue—not customer negligence. LG’s customer service throughout this process was equally poor: dismissive, unhelpful, and rigid. There was no attempt to resolve the issue fairly or consider the obvious possibility of a defective component. The experience made it clear that once LG has your money, support is minimal at best. In summary, this laptop is overpriced, poorly supported, and backed by a company that does not stand behind its products. I strongly advise potential customers to avoid LG laptops entirely unless you are prepared to pay out of pocket for major repairs shortly after purchase. Save yourself the frustration and expense—there are far better and more reliable options available from companies that actually honor their warranties.
