I ordered this for my 25 hp outboard that does not have power trim/tilt. The package says it’s only for outboards that do. Will this still work?

If you can’t tilt your motor it won’t work. If your motor won’t tilt there’s no need. If your motor tilts manual I believe you can lock it in place again no need for this product. What makes you think you need this product?

will this fit on the square frame of the trailer? the ones i have seen fit on the roller on the back of the trailer

Yes it will, but you will need to drill a hole thru the frame to attach the bracket or you could weld the bracket, that is included for this type of setup. This is the way I use mine.

Only made to fit power trim n tilt

Having bpught this item and did not see any reference to ot only fitting power trim mptors i decided to modify it yo fit my Sib and the 15 hp motor on it an easy convetsion which works exceedingly well when trailer mounted good product definately reccommended
