COLOR WOW Extra Strength Dream Coat – Anti-Humidity Frizz Control Spray

So, I have 4c hair, and this is what works for my leave out. I’ve sweated hard core for the last 4 days, and no poofy leave out yet… it does hold! YOU HAVE TO DRENCH YOUR HAIR. TAKE SMALL SECTIONS OF DAMP HAIR AND SPRAY THE HAIR UNTIL IT’S DRIPPING DOWN YOUR FACE.. THEN GET YOUR BLOW DRYER AND BRUSH ( make sure it’s the hot setting and not cool) AND GET TO BRUSHING THAT SECTION UNTIL THE HAIR IS FULLY DRY. APPLY PRESSURE WITH YOUR BRUSH. OR THIS WILL NOT WORK AS HEAT/TENSION OF A BRUSH IS WHAT IS NEEDED. Anyways, now I can stop yelling. I will say my hands was sticky using this product but nothing a good hand wash can’t fix. Fragrance is tolerable; lightly perfumed. For the amount you have to use for each section, this product is pricey and buying bottles after bottles is why I can’t afford a house ( haha joke). BUT being a bad b$tch is expensive so i will keep buying. Oddly, as i get older i care about how things look on my bathrooms shelf?? The bottle is cute and not an eye sore. Anyway, anywho buy.

Absolutely, hands down the best I’ve found for making my hair look smooth and healthy. No more split-end look or frizzy, humidity-looking hair just great texture all in all. I’ve used it several ways, on both wet and dry hair, and it works great either way. I also love that the fragrance doesn’t compete with my perfume—it just smells clean and fresh. Keeps my hair feeling smooth, holding its style and looking beautiful.

This product really does work as promised! I have very kinky, unruly curls, and humidity has always been one of my biggest struggles when it comes to keeping my hair smooth and manageable. Truly delivers! I have naturally curly frizzy hair that I straighten every morning then walk outside in humidity and it instantly fluffs up 2 inches shorter in frizz. This product changed my life. I can go 3 days without washing and my hair stays straight. I feel pretty and it saves me styling time every morning or I can wash at night and wake up its still smooth even after night sweats or sleep frizz. Only wish I found it sooner.

This makes my hair very silky. I do, however, perspire and am near ocean air throughout the year. Those two factors still aren’t helped much by this product. I would give it a C on a grading scale. Update: I have recently purchased this same product in store. I took it home tried it on damp hair that already had some product. That somewhat left a funky texture. I have a picture of my air-dried slept-on hair. And pictures of after fully following the directions of using this product. It works well this way.

Works like magic. My hair is FRIED from bleach. I usually use the original Color Wow Dream Coat but opted for the Extra Strength. I’m so glad I did! It made my hair feel normal again. There’s no smell, doesn’t leave a residue, and makes hair lay flat and sleek. 10/10!

I absolutely LOVE this product! I followed the instructions for use and it makes my “salt and pepper” hair so glossy and shiny and the grey hair looks like silver! I get compliments about it nearly every time I go out. It lasts pretty well between washes ( usually every 3 days or so) but I do use it every time I shampoo and just touch up with hot brush or flat iron if needed. Haven’t tried skipping it with any shampoos yet. The smell is fine, and though maybe a bit expensive, well worth it for me! My hair is medium texture, and quite thick and very wavy and frizzy naturally.

I bought this with high hopes because my frizzy hair has been something I have been trying to tame for decades. If I go to a salon and get a blowout it is fine for a day but then looks greasy and frizzes. I had a friend who told me this stuff works great on her hair, and she never has frizzy hair so I ordered it. Washed, towel dried and then sectioned off my hair and drenched my hair in this, combed through to distribute and proceeded to dry while using tension to activate it. I didn't see any change. My hair didn't feel sticky or heavy BUT it also wasn't shiny or smooth either. I feel it is about the same as my regular spray in conditioner that I always use. I will try again and if it improves, I will update this review. I gave it 3 stars because, it works as well as my current spray in so I can use it, it doesn't weigh my hair down or make it look greasy, the bottle is easy to use, it is a good amount for the price.

It leaves hair heavy in little or in the correct amount from the roots to the ends, the product only comes out of the hair completely with anti-residue shampoo, because after 2 normal washes the hair became rough, after using it 4 times to test it only comes out well with anti-residue shampoo. My hair is fine and curly, it's not worth it, regrettable
