Fresh & Illustrative take on a super-important subject
My favourite aspect of the book is that it is very illustrative and actionable. With the world changing rapidly around us, the importamce of sports and physical activity can ot be overstated.Vijay and Saumil do a great job in staying to loyal to a step by step approach.I loved reading it and can see myself applying a lot of it to my own family !

Our kids deserves this.. and it is for us to take action on it.
As someone who was part of fitness industry for a short while, I have been following Saumil's work (EduSports and SportzVillage) for more than a decade and was genuinely thrilled to know that he (and Vijay) co-authored and published a book. Didnt think twice before ordering a copy and finished reading it too within half a day. It is well structured, easy to read and sprinkled with graphical representations that both kids and adults would enjoy looking at. In my personal circles I have seen many people (mostly parents) who do not have a clue how to let their children be physically active. Breaking down a complex thought process into easily understandable segments (Space TIme, Child, Content and Facilitator) is illustrated with real life examples. I hope this book becomes a game changer in India and encourages next gen parents to let their kids take up physcial activity through play no matter where they are or how they live. All the best Saumil and Vijay!

"Get Kids to Play" offers practical solutions and valuable insights.
"I was delighted to receive a copy of "Get Kids to Play" from my dear friend Vijay Krishnamurthy. As someone who firmly believes in the potential of sport and physical activity to transform lives, I found the concept of a playbook dedicated to getting children to play more to be both timely and necessary. As I journey through the book, I am impressed by the structure and practical approach. It's clear that Vijay and Saumil have crafted a valuable resource for parents, teachers, and anyone else invested in ensuring every child experiences the fundamental right to play. The "Swiss knife" organization is brilliant. Dividing the content into clear sections like Space, Time, Child, Content, and Facilitator allows readers to jump right in based on their specific needs. Whether you're a parent struggling to create playtime within a busy schedule or a school leader looking for ways to integrate more physical activity, "Get Kids to Play" offers practical solutions and valuable insights."
