Camera Case for Sony A7III A7RIII ILCE-7RIII A73 A7R3 - Protective Silicone DSLR Skin Cover, Detachable Cage, Shockproof, Dustproof (Black)

PROS: *The case arrived on-time, and was in perfect condition. *I was hoping for a bright yellow color, as was shown in the product photos- and that's exactly what it was! *It is attention-grabbing! Right after I received this case, I filmed a 4-day convention, and had people coming up to me, asking me all about the camera, asking me about my business, noticing me walking around with it, and as a result they were being more camera-friendly when they would see me walking around. *There's definitely more of a grip. There's almost no chance of it slipping. *This case fits my Sony a7iii perfectly! There is no wiggle room, and every button is and knob has a place in this case. *You can still swtich lenses out seamlessly! There's no interference at all! CONS: *Do not attempt to use this case if you're shooting with a Tripod or Gimbal! The bottom part of this rubber case will always be between the camera and the mounting plate, and it will ALWAYS wiggle out of place, and cause the camera to unwind itself almost immediately. I only had to learn this lesson once during that convention shoot, and thankfully I was prepared for the idea that it could happen- because as soon as mounted my camera onto my Ronin-S and balanced it, the camera immediately begun spinning itself loose, and so I ONLY use this rubber case when I know I will be shooting handheld for a while. *Do not just rip this case off and on. You have to take a minute or two and be delicate with it, so you don't end up tearing or stretching it or anything. OVERALL: I am very happy with this rubber case. I am very glad I bought it! Yellow is my favorite color, and even though its main function is to keep away dust, dirt, and provide more grip- I truly enjoy the aesthetic of having a yellow camera. It's the same feeling I would have if I were to buy a yellow Playstation controller or a yellow Adidas jacket. It just looks cool to me! I am absolutely going to purchase more of these in other colors too, maybe to switch it up when I shoot for repeat clients.

I dinged my A7RIII the first week after I got it and that made me look for a protective option. I would absolutely recommend getting this product. Here are some highlights. - Well fitting: The case fits extremely well and has no extraneous material. Buttons line up perfectly, cutouts match and the contour of the camera is followed accurately. - Protective: The case isn't too thin or thick, but perfectly protects the camera from scratches, bumps or even a small drop. It makes me feel confident about tossing it around in a bag or handling it less delicately than I would without the case. Feels like a solid brick when I place it on the table - in a good way. - Additional grip: If you have big hands, this will make the grip feel more full. The texture is what really separates this from others, it feels good, looks good and gives it additional feel grip. - Looks great: Like I mentioned already, I feel like this adds to the overall look of the camera with the mat finish. The buttons have a subdued look which makes it look even better. Things that could be improved: - Flaunts branding: The biggest thing for me is that I wish there was a version of this product that covers the logo and model in the front and back. I don't like to show-off an expensive camera on the streets, especially when traveling. - The bottom is too exposed / there are thin floppy pieces: there is a big opening for the screw mount and battery door at the bottom, I wish the opening was smaller. Perhaps just around the screw and battery door only, this way the material in this area wouldn't be as floppy. Right now the piece below the screen is thin enough that it shifts around easily. - Too soft: this doesn't bother me too much, but it's worth noting that the silicone is very soft and can stretch in a few ways when handling the camera. Like I mentioned, it doesn't bother me too much in daily operation. Would be interested if the silicone was a bit firmer / stiffer. - Harder to turn on: The cutout around the power button makes it harder to turn on. Takes a little to get used to.

I received this case a few weeks ago and I immediately used it on my Sony a7iii. The case looks and feels amazing. It sits perfectly on the camera and I have no issues with it. It does a great job and protects the camera really well. The only problem that I was just faced with is that when I tried to attach an external flash, there isn’t enough room to comfortably slide the flash into the hotshoe. I would either have to tilt the flash and force it into the hotshoe on an angle, putting too much pressure on the foot, which I could see would end up breaking the foot of the flash. Or I am now considering cutting one side of the case around the hotshoe to allow for a smooth glide into to hotshoe. I really don’t want to cut into my case, but it’s better than no case at all or breaking the foot of my flash. Overall, I do recommend this product, but I wish there was a better way to get the flash on.

Really good case for protecting and styling my camera. I got it after I once dropped my camera by accident, to make sure it gives it at least a bit of protection, but it also makes my camera look more unique.

I purchased white for my Sony a7III. it is a perfect fit and the white is bright and clean.
