Boost pedal. Outstanding performance, especially for the price
I have been playing semi-professionally for 50 years. I currently have a large shoegaze/ambient pedalboard for creating massive soundscapes. I have three guitars with mini-humbuckers (out of my 12 or so guitars) which I prefer for getting the tone I like for this style of music. I run pedals in front of my amps, in the effects loop, and after my amps. I tried to get enough clean boost at the front of my chain using a few different high-quality EQ pedals, as well as some very expensive boost pedals, but nothing gave me the amount of clean boost or tone I wanted. For the price of this pedal, I figured I had nothing to lose if it didn't work. But boy, did it deliver what I was looking for. The amount of clean boost is amazing, and the customization of the tonal coloration that feeds into my multiple delays, multiple reverbs, etc is astonishing. I also tried it in front of my 'crunch' pedals and amp, and it was amazing, as well. I was prepared to be disappointed, but this boost pedal as far exceeded my expectations. For the price, it is a real surprise. It will be staying on my board, which something I say about very few pedals.

Cleans up & Amplifies Sound Well
I bought this for my acousto-electric ukulele to try and mess around with the sound and I'm actually pretty pleased with its performance so far. If you just want something to give you a brighter or softer sound and get rid humming noise, then this is a pretty nice affordable option. (I was really looking for a rock/metal sort of distortion pedal, but this is good for a more acoustic sound. A Note: it does not come with the 1/4 in cable and 9V power cable required (But that's standard equipment you probably already have or can easily get at a music supply store) Also pardon my shoddy playing in the video, I'm just whipping up this review real quick.

Pure, clean, boost-y, and very low signal noise
Wow. $25 went this far? I had the simple idea that a clean boost with some tone controls could serve as a preamp in a chain of mini pedals designed for use in home recording/headphone jamming. So, I went for the cheapest I could find, and it also may be the best I could find for that purpose. It’s very pure and clean and it’s also very quiet - quieter than some digital FX I have. It’s so quiet I’m basically able to use it as a noise reduction tool by lowering the volume and treble on other pedals in the chain and simply boosting it with this - like a master volume control. I don’t gig, so I don’t know how it’s work as a true boost, but I can tell you that by itself the pedal can be quite loud, offering plenty of clean headroom. The build is very solid, with the unit feeling heavier than expected. The bass and tone controls do work well, too, offering some preamp-like sculpting. It’s really a perfect pedal.

It Does The Job Very Well
I needed more "punch" for my Taylor Acoustic guitar while playing in a church band. I had been using a Radial DI box which did the trick but we added singers and I lost the use of an XLR plug so I had to go back to a 1/4" guitar plug. For awhile I used an Ibznez TS9 with the Drive turned down and that worked well but I still needed more volume. I considered the tc Helicon Spark and the Azor Pure Boost. Both provide 20dB volume boost. I purchased the Azor because of the price difference and wow, it works! The distance from the stage to the sound booth is about 60 feet and I set the Azor Gain at about 1:00. Plenty of good clear sound. A nice plus is the eq of Bass and Tone (treble). "Level" is like a master volume which I set at 1:00 also. The Azor is doing a great job!

AZOR Pure Boost Guitar Pedal
It delivers on the promise of delivering a CLEAN boost as opposed to being an overdrive pedal. I put it on my smaller pedal board to boost the sound as needed. Used in conjunction with an overdrive pedal, it is very versatile without adding unwanted distortion. No power supply, but I already had one. It's use and functionality should be instinctive. Simple ease of operation, three knobs, on/off button. The small size is big plus and it seems sturdy. Nothing more to say other than I really, really like it. It even comes with a form-fitted velcro piece and a plain piece as well if you want to use either.

This company is worth check out.
I have purchased four different pedals for this company. All of them sound good, except for this one. The sound is harsh and brilliant. How ever for the price the company is worth check out.

Solid Construction, good boost, but noisy on my rig.
This is a very compact, solidly built booster. Comes packaged well, and includes rubber, and velcro pads for the bottom. The knobs rotate very smoothly and not loose. The switch is of the hard-click type, and seems to be good quality. For this price point, I was very impressed in a good way when I took it out of the box. The specs put this booster pedal at 20db+ clean boost with ±15db 2 band EQ. I cannot verify that claim, but it does have plenty of gain. The "2-band EQ" are the bass and treble control knobs. The level and the gain knobs adjust the boost. The level adjusts clean volume, and the gain, can add some breakup at the top end. The pedal is very usable and versatile. Unfortunately, in my rig this booster introduced too much noise (hiss and buzz), even at lower boost levels. I have a large number of pedals that I rotate on my pedalboard, and the rig is always very silent. I don't even use noise gates because I do not need them. But every time I turned on this booster, the noise was there. Adjusting the EQ controls did not help. I do have isolated power supplies, and no ground looks. I tried moving to alternative power outlets but the noise remained. There is also some momentary noise introduced when switching on and off. This may be problematic in some live situations, especially at high volumes. I cannot speak to the pedal's circuit durability, but it does seem built to last. I think it is worth trying it out. Others may experience no noise with it in their rigs, and decide that is is a keeper.

Good value clean boost
I use this at the very end of my mini board for a clean boost for guitar solos to cut through. Controls have to be dialed judiciously. Maxing everything makes it sound awful. I keep volume maxed. Bass about 9:00, treble about 11:00 and gain between 12:00 and 1:00 depending on how much boost I need. It does its job well and is a great value.

Well, I was looking for a clean 20db boost and it delivers very well. Really don’t need or use the gain button because I only use to boost the signal before a DI box. If you look for a boost i your signal, at this price, don’t hesitate.

The Azor Pure Boost is a nice pedal but it's not as good as the classic MXR Micro Amp or the Joyo Roll Boost when it comes to an uncolored clean boost. The Azor does have four buttons whereas the other two pedals have just the single volume knob so that's where it's strength lies. With the Azor's Gain knob turned all the way down you can get a clean boost, although the EQ changes slightly. I fooled around with the bass and tone knobs but couldn't quite get it to match the guitar's tone when the pedal was off. That's something I was able to do with the MXR and Joyo. Note that I used all three pedals in the amp's effects loop. If you're looking for more than just a clean volume boost then this pedal may suit you, especially as an "always on" pedal in your effects loop. You can add some bass and adjust the gain knob to tweak it.

The pure boost is awesome. If you play metal and your current boost isn't quite cutting it for you, run this after it. I was doing the same thing with a ten band eq but a clean boost does a much better job. I borrowed a friend waza tube expander a while back and it made my jcm 800 sound full and amazing but the pure boost actually makes it sound just as full and saturated. For the price the pure boost is amazing.
