This replacement air filter fit my Kawasaki FR engine perfectly with no hassle. The quality is excellent—it feels just as solid as the OEM version but at a much better price. Installation was quick and easy, and my mower started right up afterward. Since switching to this filter, I’ve noticed the engine runs smoother and has plenty of power. The filter material looks durable and does a great job keeping dust and debris out. It’s also nice that it matches multiple Kawasaki engine models, so I can use it on both of my mowers. Run these in my fr730v engine on my Hustler zero turn. If you have one, you know the breather/filter box does a bad job and sucks in so much dust and debris. Making it imperative to have good filters. I have to change them pretty often as I mow 4 semi large cemeteries and the grass and dust can be blown all around here the plains. These replacements do great and are affordable. No reason to choose any other.

just as good as dealers filters and a lot cheaper price

I just bought a CubCadet zero turn w/Kawaski engine and wanted to be ready to do the first service at the 5-hour mark. Although I haven't installed these yet, they look identically sized to the OEM factory installed filter. The only main difference I noticed is the OEM filter has a bit of wire mesh, where these are just paper. Given the CC has a plastic filter housing, I'm not sure that it matters. As always AMZN made it easy to find, shipped it to me in 2 days, and for cheap money.

I'm mainly posting this review as a follow-up to "Ben" and his review about the glue. I was worried at first but I decided paying $12 for 2 filters versus paying $20+ for the oem, and taking the risk, was still a better choice. Plus these come with what I like to call a "trash sock". I figured if it was bad I'd just fix it myself with a hot glue gun. Luckily the manufacturer obviously fixed their problem and now dip both sides of the element in a black sealant as shown in my picture. So it's 100% sealed and it works perfectly as any air filter should. I recommend these all day, any day, for any motor that uses this type of filter. I put it on my Ariens Ikon X 52" Kawasaki engine in case someone wants to know. I also always recommend a few shots of carb cleaner into the carb of any small motor while it's running, in between each air filter change, just to keep the engine running smoothly.

Beats the hell out of O.E.M. for price. Does the job nicely.

Fit was good. I'm glad it comes with the pre-filter as mine didn't from the factory. I've used it once so far in some dusty conditions. Outside of filter is dirty and the inside is clean, exactly what I want! Hopefully the longevity is up to the task and then I would definitely buy again.
