Labeled heavy duty at time of purchase. They don't look particularly beefy, but they work and are plenty strong. Nice product at good price.

These are holding my railing securely however the footprint is slightly smaller than what I had hoped for and the screws are a little bit shorter than what I think is required. All in all I can't complain they're doing their job. Had these been a little bit better made I probably could have used less of them and still felt secure.

These are really good quality brackets that come with all the screws to mount them. (wasn't sure) I was getting black and sometimes there are no screws which is hard because black screws aren't readily available. BUT, beware if you are replacing any older ones in US, these will be slightly closer to the wall than the originals. This is because most universal hardware like this has been "globally harmonized". This means that it's probably actually a compromise between inch & metric measurement, which is why despite listing the inch with old us std it isn't. You won't be able to just replace one or some like I wanted to. Fortunately it came with 6 brackets and I just replaced all of them. If you are putting up new or have just a straight rail without ends should be a snap. I have return ends so I had to cut them shorter because the brackets mount the railing closer to the wall. Very happy with these

These did the job perfectly! They seem to be great quality! We sanded down and stained our railing on our stairs, our old brackets had a bunch of paint on them and looked terrible. These ones are super fresh and new. Definitely worth it! It’s one of those things that you buy and don’t think about too much or don’t worry about too much which is how you know it’s good. So far we’ve had this up for about the last month or so.

Replaced some old gold handrail brackets these look so much better and seem to be just as sturdy.
