My Dark Desire: An Enemies-to-Lovers Romance (Dark Prince Road)

Amazing doesn't begin to cover this book. I was enthralled with the protagonists, unexpectedly, because I didn't think the first book could be topped, but damn it it did and I'm so happy I finally finished it. Dallas became an instant favorite last year and Farrow stands proud and tall right beside her. Loved loved loved the book, the angst, healing, self-love, LOVE!!!! BANTER BANTER AND MORE BANTER. This become is a dream come true for an escapist like me. Thanks for writing it you beautiful authors.

I can't decide what was most hilariousFae calling her stepsister thing 1 and thing 2 or Zach nicknaming Far as Octi or Zach stating his mother to be a Cult leader or Zach proposing random guy instead of Fae. God I read in one sitting late night laughing like actual Cinderella step mother and waking up my brother.

I loved lobed loved the first book that I had to get a hard copy.was so looking forward to Zachs story,it didn't do justice to the hype I had.The back story for both the characters was great but their story lacked the sauce the chemistry ,assuming Zach being never being with someone else before it was a very watered down version of what the authors are so capable of,it felt of and too sudden at times.it also felt a bit cliche at times,but it qas a good story though that could have been great.also hope the 3rd book does exceed and is better that thr first two,kuddos on the books !

Cinderella story vibe.... Amazing storytelling... Will keep you hooked till end. Loved the writing style. Loved the plot. Banter between the Fmc and MMC was hilarious.

A beautiful book. I cannot imagine how someone can think and write up such a sad beginning to a book and the impact it has till the end. Shen and Parker collaboration is like the Avenger Endgame. Bringing out the best fome both. Next time my husband visits US I will make him buy the hard copies as they are not available in India yet. This book is just <3

Making him the coldest person who's a human in name only and doesn't even let people near him nor is interested in making any kind of friendship nor relationship with anyone.𝒁𝒂𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒚 𝑺𝒖𝒏 𝒅𝒊𝒅𝒏’𝒕 𝒅𝒐 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆, 𝒏𝒐𝒓 𝒑𝒂𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏. The thing is that Zach catches Farrow stealing something precious from him and now he wants her to complete her end of the bargain if she wants to win her steal fair and square.But in doing so Zach soon realises that this mere game has become much more serious when he finds out the most shocking cure of his hidden secret does exist and it's none other than his little Octi. 𝑰’𝒅 𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒔𝒆 𝒇𝒖𝒏 𝒇𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒔 𝒊𝒏 𝒎𝒚 𝒃𝒓𝒂𝒊𝒏 𝒆𝒔𝒑𝒆𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒚 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒉𝒆𝒓, 𝒃𝒆𝒄𝒂𝒖𝒔𝒆 𝑰 𝒌𝒏𝒆𝒘 𝒔𝒉𝒆 𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒎.I got to spend time with the uber wealthy maniac and cater to his many whims but also loved when Farrow put him in his place while also warming up and slowly thawing Zach's Frozen heart.Full of Mischief and fun times with friends, battling an unwanted impending engagement and a mother heck bent on molding you and in all this finding an attraction that's as new to you as nothing you've ever felt.Zachary Sun doesn't even realise when he goes from cold and stay away from me to Obsessed and a complete goner for his Octi.Farrow that girl is used to being on her own and growing up in an unloved family with a evil stepmother and two step sisters with only your father as your one supporter.Fencing is life and Farrow has big dreams for it but it all comes crashing down in one fell swoop and now Farrow has to make up her mind and decide which way will she choose.Farrow's character took time for me to take a liking to but once I got to know that girl I was heck yeah rooting for her.The way she put Zach in his place, the way she's always there for her friends, the way even when she's hurt yet used sarcasm to find her way out of rich people trying to put her down - all of it made Farrow Ballantine a real princess material or rather 𝖡𝖺𝖽𝖺𝗌𝗌 𝖡𝗂𝗍𝖼𝗁 I'd like to be friends with.😻This book doesn't let you go and keeps you hooked onto it with not only the crazy banter and the bickering but also wanting to see how this messed up scenario finds its way to happiness.I'm looking forward to read Romeo and Dallas' story as we get to see them in this book. Dallas was crazy yet such an amazing friend to Farrow.When I read how they started off with Romeo dragging Dallas down the aisle and now seeing them married and pregant and so happy and Romeo crazy for Dallas, I can't wait to read their book.Dive into a twisted Dark tale with a ultra grump and his sweet Cinderella who gives him something so precious that which he had no idea he was even looking for, along with friends that are always there like shadows supporting you and so much of lol 😅 times that will make you laugh. Amei, amei e amei! Farrow e Zach são simplesmente perfeitos! A força que a Farrow tem me cativou desde o início! Amei o primeiro e o segunda e já estou ansiosa pro terceiro livro da série! Recomendo muito!!!

I read this book in an entire sitting. I sobbed. I laughed. I felt like my heart was breaking and then was given such a beautiful ending.Zach is an unlikely book villain/hero. He's damaged. He's ruthless. He's cruel at times but when he loves. He does so with his whole heart. I felt his desire for Farrow through the page. You could feel his obsession with her. I wanted so badly for them to get their happy ending.Farrow has been dealt a bad hand her entire life. One hit after another. Zach is the family that she's been searching for her entire life.I would say this is a twist on a Cinderella story. Except Farrow is no sweet Cinderella and Zach is no prince charming. The two of them have an almost primal attraction to one another. That sauna scene will live in my head rent free for months to come. I don't know if I've ever read anything with that much angst.Dallas is the side character we need in every story. I love her obsession with food and how she's just a genuinely good person.Overall my rating is that absolutely obsessed and you must read this book.

Un poco de dark, un poco de comedia y muchos, muchos buenos momentos.No puedo creer que tenga que esperar hasta el año que viene para leer el siguiente. Va a ser una tortura.

He's a coldhearted man, but he also has another side.As always, L.J. Shen writes well and captivating. I couldn't put this book down nit even for a second. We got both POVs in the first person, which helped me to be more invested in the characters.I could relate to both main characters and felt so much, and I had some lols, by the way.Conclusion:This story is interesting, intriguing, and hot.
