plug and play perfection. This thing is INSANELY well thought out and sound quality is amazing.
I'll admit, I'm an insufferable audiophile. I like stuff that sounds really good. I'll explain just why I think this is such an incredible package, but for the sound alone, these are astoundingly good. Full, rich, superb detail, the sound is insanely wide and they sound so much bigger than they are. The treble is not too recessed or sparkly, the crossover with the sub is perfection, the sub is just right for the package, they can get a little distorted at the absolute max volume, but it's only a tiny bit, and that volume is very much in the realm of hearing damage. For a simple, versatile desk setup, this as close to perfection as it gets. It feels and sounds like a good $400 set of bookshelf speakers, and the design is so much more versatile and useful for a desk setup. There are so many pitfalls when you're trying to get your first good audio setup. Firstly, if you're using the headphone jack on your PC... STOP. The digital to audio decoding chip in most motherboards is fine, but the amplifier circuit is so horrendous on even top tier gaming motherboards that they are destroying audio. These handle that by just being digital. Type C for audio means that you can indeed just plug them into any type C port on your PC and they have the good sound decoding and amplification built in. The volume will fill a room, no problem. I wouldn't call them better than a far field bookshelf for more home theater, but if you're sitting within a few feet they're far better and they do just fine at making a room full of sound. Then you need to get the speakers in the right POSITION. these also make that very easy. As long as you can make sure that you're sitting above them, they are WIDE field. I've got them probably eight inches either side of my shoulders on my small studying desk and they are a WALL of sound. The drivers are bigger than the normal pebble, and they're superbly tuned. No center channel needed, the directionality is amazing. Then they just built their own headphone amp and mic jack into them. Awesome. It's not the best headphone jack, but it's tolerable. Tiny bit of hiss, but i'm very sensitive to it and it's easily ignorable. Not a lot of horsepower so if you do plan on using headphones, I would recommend using a dedicated headphone dac/amp (fiio snowsky melody is only about 40 bucks and will be all you need, especially if your headphones have a 4.4mm balanced output, all it needs is another usb-c port - you could even use that to drive these speakers because they keep the optional 3.5mm input). So you've got speakers. No needing to fuss with perfect placement, no fussing with source, it takes care of it. You need a simple plug for some low impedance IEM's or a microphone? Boom. Now you need a subwoofer. That's not simple either, but these just sort it. It's not ported, instead it uses two reflex passive radiators, which make it very meaty and potent for midbass, but it can't really hit the hardest of sub bass. It's honestly perfect as long as you don't want to shake the room. It gives everything a VERY full tone, explosions in games and all but the lowest of wubs are in the sweet spot. But one of the biggest annoyances with a subwoofer is the crossover - where do you want the subwoofer to step in as the speakers run out of steam down low? It's tricky to tune. Not here. It's flawless. You can't adjust the bass, but you really don't need to. The crossover is just absolute chef's kiss perfect. And the fact that it's basically got three speakers pointing around means it's very easy to put wherever. On your desk? it's a tiny cube, works great. Under? You've got a center driver and 2 radiators, put it wherever you want. It's not picky at all. It's so small and honestly, I don't think you could do it better. Porting a 4 inch woofer would just sound muddy and dumb anyways. The whole package being unported means you don't need to have it in a special position against the wall to get the best results either. Slap 'em down wherever you want. So the whole setup is super plug and play. You don't technically even need to give it extra power. Just plug it into the computer, and usb-c can pull a fair amount of watts to drive it and it sounds very usable. But if you plug it into a wall adapter with its own power supply, this thing puts on some big boy pants and gets REALLY good. That versatility didn't need to be there. But they included it anyways. So the extras, I like that the audio input and power input are removable cables, I love that it includes the aux in if you want to use it for other things (you could theoretically even preamp it with a tube or something.) I love the super wide field of audio. The ports for the headphone and mic. It also has post mounts on the bottom so you can put it on stands, giving you more versatility. Bluetooth is great, connects easily, easy to swap between wired and wireless (don't use bluetooth if you want the best audio quality, it lacks LDAC, and bluetooth inherently has audio delay, this is mostly so you can use them as room speakers for your phone or something in addition, it's just a perk) And the RGB is... there. No comments. I hate RGB. There's a chaser mode that is neat but I find distracting. So, for the money, genuinely folks, this is a no brainer. I have hivi swan OS10's for one setup, my massive home theater setup, my office with a dayton surround sound and monster sub, and for a tiny downstairs nook the original pebbles (which are also great but this is a whole other world) and these are just everything I hoped for. I plug them into my laptop with my second monitor, or plug them into my switch and some XR glasses and it's amazing without needing my headphones. If I had to gripe, I'd have a few, but none of them are remotely deal breakers. I do wish there was a mount screw on the back of the speaker. Not just the bottom. It makes mounting them awkward on many stands. I wish the cable between the speakers themselves was removable and replaceable. I'd like if there was a way to pair another set so you could have like a 4.2 surround setup with two of them (it'd be genuinely incredible) and a remote would be nice. Also I like the volume knob on the cheaper pebbles better, it's a real potentiometer and if you turn it all the way to the left they click off. The power on light on these is incredibly inoffensive, but I'd like to be able to just power it down. And maybe a wireless dongle for actual wireless use? Powered off the wall but with a 2.4ghz wireless dongle plugged into your device. But that's it folks. You just built a new PC and don't know where to start? Here. It's not very "upgradeable" but it will do everything you need and more, and will teach you what good sound is supposed to be. These are a superb reference for when you're ready to build your own setup about how to balance crossover and fields of sound. If you want headphones to go with this, If you want to keep it CHEAP, get the moondrop old fashioned on-ear headphones and they'll go perfect with the amp in this, or if you want isolation the moondrop chu 2, kineara celeste wyvern or the tanchjim bunny, all around $20. If you want an upgrade, the fiio FT1 pro or fiio JT7 (trust me, you gotta experience big honking planar magnetic headphones) and the fiio snowsky melody - the headphones come with both 3.5 and 4.4 balanced wires, and the melody dongle dac can easily power them and give you balanced audio for just that bit more. And if you want closed back, there's not a lot of cheap options, but avoid anything "with the word "gaming" in it, it's a scam - sole exception being the audeze maxwell, which are genuinely superb. So if I was a budget minded new PC gamer, I'd buy these and some TRN VX pro plus along with the TRN redchain microphone cable (best gaming budget IEM ever, crazy detail and imaging and the cable has a nice boom microphone and is longer). If I had a tiny bit more money, I'd add the fiio snowsky melody.

Great Sound and Style — Almost Perfect
The Creative Pebble X Plus really upgraded my desk setup. Surprisingly full sound out of such a small system, the subwoofer included gives it some great kick without overwhelming the mid and high. Music, videos, and games are more immersive compared with my older speakers. It's easy to set up with USB‑C, while Bluetooth 5.3 works great with my laptop and phone. Another thing I love about these speakers is its customizable RGB lighting; it adds a subtle, modern touch without being too distracting. If I had to nitpick, the max volume could be a bit louder, and the subwoofer cable feels a little short for flexible placement. But overall, this is a great 2.1 system at this price, and I'm very happy with it.

Amazing Sound and Zero Desk Clutter — Perfect Upgrade!
I wasn’t expecting this much power from such a small 2.1 setup, but the Creative Pebble X Plus completely surprised me. The satellites are compact, clean-looking, and the RGB lighting is fully customizable, which adds a nice touch without being over-the-top. The star of the show, though, is the subwoofer — it delivers deep, punchy bass that you can actually feel, not just hear. Setup couldn’t be easier. One USB-C cable powers everything, so there’s no bulky power brick or cable mess. I love that I can switch audio sources instantly, and the volume knob is super responsive. Even at higher volumes, the sound stays clear and crisp without distortion. For gaming, music, and movies, this set punches way above its price range. Voices are clear, bass is impactful, and stereo separation is much better than any soundbar I've used at this price. It’s honestly one of the best “small footprint, big sound” systems I’ve tried. If you want great audio, simple setup, RGB customization, and a clean desk, the Pebble X Plus is absolutely worth it. Highly recommended!

Fantastic sound on my desktop!!!
I agree with all the good reviews. This is just an excellent speaker set up for a desktop. I was just trying to upgrade a pair of old Bose speakers that I had connected to my laptop years ago. I was curious if I could get a speaker set up that doesn't take much space on my desk and hope delivers better sound than my old speakers. Though Creative sell the two small speakers separately as well, I went for the set up that includes a small subwoofer and I cannot be happier. They deliver crisp sound and the small subwoofer provides the depth of sound that I was looking for. Spending so many hours working in my computer and listening to my favorite music, these speakers have made a world of a difference to me. They took my music to another level of enjoyment. The set up is simple and they can be wired connected to your computer or through Bluetooth, which is a plus. Highly recommended!!!

They didn't meet my expeditions what advertising said filled misled
They sound OK but don't meet my expectations when you turn it up it keeps shutting down you can't go very high volume because it will not allow it that is a big big letdown I did my research and everybody said get a higher wattage AC adapter charger I went with a 65 W more than one that asked for and it still didn't make no difference if I need to be high loud Twitter not much big range at all the base barely punches looks cheaply made not happy at all returning them had them for two days goodbye goodbye I want my money back a false advertising by Amazon Amazon

Ditch the old 3.55mm Jack and go Digital
I love these speakers so much, I bought another pair! Technically 3rd, but I purchased a set that didn't include the sub as well. That set is great as well. Simply tired of dealing with the 3.55mm jack and analog audio in general, so it's time to go all digital! The bass response from the sub is great at any volume level. Control the volume level from the dial on the speaker or from your keyboard. RGB lighting.

These might not be for audiophiles but for the average desktop user these are going to sound amazing. The little subwoofer is mighty but really benefits from being placed next to a hard surface. I put mine behind my monitor in a corner and it amplifies the bass quite a bit. The speakers themselves are quite a bit larger than my Pebble V2s and feel weighty. The RGB lighting is a bit of a gimmick but it looks nice and I was able to make it match my setup. They lack passive radiators which most of the other pebble speakers have, but it's not needed due to the sub. For desktop computer speakers they really do sound great and can get uncomfortably loud with a 30W PD adapter. I like them very much for gaming or watching TV shows on my computer. Another huge bonus for me is connecting them to my computer with USB so I don't have to use the motherboard sound card. It's also absolutely worth downloading the Creative desktop app if you use the speakers with USB as it gives you a full equalizer and access to a few other audio filtering features that improved my experience, and allowed me to customize the lighting to match my setup. There are a few downsides though: - You need a 30W PD adapter to get the most out of these speakers, but one is *not* included for the price. It is forgivable for the cheaper Pebble speakers but these flagship models really should have included what is basically an essential accessory. - They are a bit expensive. Wait for a sale if you can. - Cables everywhere. It was a bit of work to get this setup looking clean and tidy under my new screen. If you're a fan of the Pebble series and in need of a compact speaker setup, these are worth considering. If they included a PD adapter and dropped the price 20%, it would be a no-brainer. Edit: Had these a year now and upgrading my rating to 5 stars. I've purchased several other inexpensive computer speakers with subwoofer to try with my other computer and nothing in this price range come close to the levels of deep bass this little set can produce. It might be limited in overall power - Logitech and Edifier speakers at this price point will probably be better for bigger rooms, but for a compact set that can still produce ~45Hz at reasonable volume levels, these are the king.
