I actually didn't buy these bars for bathing...I bought them to clean my makeup brushes and beauty sponges. If you're a makeup lover, you probably already know this little beauty hack! Ivory soap does an amazing job breaking down foundation, concealer, cream products, and brush buildup without requiring a lot of scrubbing. I just wet my brushes, swirl them on the bar, and rinse. The makeup comes out surprisingly easily, and my brushes feel clean and soft afterward. The large 10-pack is a great value because one bar lasts a long time when used for brush cleaning. I also appreciate that the formula is simple and doesn't have an overpowering fragrance. I've used expensive brush cleansers before, but honestly, this works just as well for me at a fraction of the cost. The gold standard for mild, unscented, natural bar soap. These are large bars. Four of them are going to last me quite a while, if I don’t leave them sitting in water.

I’ve tried a lot of bar soaps as I don’t want to contribute to the plastic waste issue. Most bars feel greasy with a strong scent to them. Ivory doesn’t do either AND it’s economical. Plus I shave my head so this soap does it all. All in all a great clean feeling without an overwhelming scent. Good stuff!

I grew up on using Ivory Bar Soap. This was the first step to achieving the "OG" Clean-Girl aesthetic. It leaves you clean and smelling like fresh, "clothes-line dried" laundry (iykyk). I love everything about this soap EXCEPT it does not "float" on top of the water like it used to. The texture of the bar is still the same. That's the reason for 4-stars, I wanted 4.5 but no option. It says it's still pure, however, that slight difference makes me wonder. I have not experienced any irritations, so it's still safe for sensitive skin. It does not leave my skin dry or dehydrated nor dry in texture, just clean and fresh. What is missing is the "99.9% PURE" description that used to be on the front of the package. I got them at a great value for the number/ amount of bars in the package. I will continue to purchase in this amount because it lasts much longer.

Ivory soap is a classic no frills soap. Been around a long time and has proven its worth. It’s simple, it cleans, and I will continue to buy it. If you are looking for a gentle soap that cleans your skin without any harsh fragrances then Ivory soap is what I recommend.
