Theatre Nerds 'Not Throwing Away My Shot' tri-layer necklace - Broadway musical inspired

This just came in a tiny cellophane envelope...no box...but a cute accessory for casual wear. (When are we not casual now?) I chose this because the sentiment was so fitting for my 'giftee', not knowing it was from Hamilton lyrics. Purely by coincidence I gifted it just before taking her to see the touring Broadway production. I couldn't have designed for the occasion any better than that!

Received as a gift and it's perfect for the Hamilton fanatic, but also it's just a great reminder to live life to the fullest when I wear it. The medallions are much heavier than I would have expected; great quality. I've pretty much worn it since last Christmas with no rusting or filmy residue; it looks just as new today as when I opened it. I love the chain, but it would be easy to slip on to any chain one would prefer.

I don’t know exactly what I was expecting for the price ~ but the necklace far exceeded my expectations. Well made, super adorable & great price. Would definitely recommend to anyone ~ especially Hamilton lovers!!!

Am I satisfied? We bought this for our daughter; she's a bit of a Hamilton devote. She'd spotted them online and we decided to surprise her for her birthday. Reading previous reviews we knew there could be some issues and expected that. Her necklace came deeply stamped (Yay!!!) With high contrast of alloys as well as lettering. 5 stars there. The chain itself has been an issue for most purchases and we're no exception. We received a different chain than was shown in the sellers image as well...if they swapped vendors it hasn't helped. Because our daughter had it on for less than an hour when she brought it to me stating it had broken. (Loss of a star) It was bed time, even for a freshly minted teenager so she placed it on the table and we decided to address it the next day. On taking a closer look at the chain it turns out it didn't actually break, the jump ring just shifted a fraction too wide and the thin chain link slipped out. Return of half a star. It's an easy enough repair with the type of chain we received (if you have jewelery tools especially) by replacing the standard jump rings on the chain with split jump rings(think of key rings, only really small), slip it into the link of the chain and the clasp will attach to that now instead. For durability purposes you should replace the jump ring on the other side of the clasp as well. That said...the chain isn't silver and the wife happens to keep extra Sterling Silver chains around because who like green neck rings? No one, that's who. So, we swapped that out and the necklace is repaired for the long run and looks great. I would like the seller to consider the multitude of buyers who have had this repeated issue and either address it with: replacing the jump rings themselves, supplying a better chain to begin with, or consider offering it with the option of a pendant only for a lower price if they are not offering it with a higher quality chain to begin with. At any rate with the deeply stamp letterring and smooth edges of the discs as well as our expectations of a really cheap chain we'd need to replace, I'd have to say that we got what we expected, so I guess that means that we're satisfied.

I like the necklace because I have been in community theatre groups a long time. Also the 3 different metals that make up the pendant is cool. The price was reasonable which was nice since I'm a jewelry nut. I wish the chain was a little longer however that's only a minor thing.

My daughter loves Hamilton and she loves this necklace! The chain is nothing special, but the pendant is cute and exactly as shown. A great gift for a Hamilton fan!

It’s a pretty necklace, purchased as a gift. The first n in “not” is clearly an n. However, the lowercase h in “shot”looks like an n. I hope that the recipient doesn’t misread it.
