So I was very hesitant to get one of these even though it has been recommended to me a million times. But I couldn't stand the musty mats anymore, so I tried it, and wow! I am very pleasantly surprised. It is not nearly as heavy as I was imagining, more like a cutting board than a rock, and it actually works. The water absorbs in seconds. This is great- I wish I would have got one sooner!

Okay holy moly! I totally wish that I would’ve done an unboxing because I received this while I was at work, so I opened it when I got home that night and my babysitter was still over and she and I opened it together, and we were both fascinated by this! It looks like it’s way heavier than it is, but it’s definitely not so lightweight that it feels cheap at all. It really does absorb the water so well and I love the ridges so that when I put cups or bowls down on it, they can still have some air get in there. It really does such a better job than the microfiber dish mats or even the dish drainage racks. It just looks so sleek and nice on my counter. I want to make a video, but I don’t have one yet and I thought I should at least get a written review completed.

The mat does dry quickly and looks better than the mat we used to use. Only concern is the small size which means that we have to dry things and put them away.

I love this drying mat! It looks really aesthetically pleasing on my counters next to my sink — I don’t ever feel like I need to put it away as it looks great and seamlessly blends in with my white and gray kitchen. I also love how it absorbs water so quickly and keep the mess of drying dishes to a minimum. I like hand washing some of my dishes, so this mat serves a great purpose for drip drying those items. Before purchasing it I was just using a towel which would get soggy and look messy. What a cool concept this type of stone mat is- so glad I found it!

This is seriously one of my favorite Amazon finds! It is so much more useful than I imagined. I had never heard of this until I came across this drying mat and ordered due to curiosity. It dries hand washed dishes very quickly and you don’t have to deal with wet towels. I like that it has grooves so any water goes into the grooves and gets the dishes dry as quickly as possible. It’s just the right size, and looks very sleek and stylish on my counter. I plan to buy more as housewarming gifts for friends.
