Duncan Hines Dolly Parton's Banana Nut Muffin & Bread Mix, 19.05 oz.

This is honestly the most delicious muffin mix I’ve ever bought! The muffins came out incredibly moist, soft, and flavorful. Even people who usually don’t like muffins were amazed by how good they were. The first time, I followed the muffin recipe on the box exactly, and they turned out great. And yes, using butter instead of just oil makes a big difference in the flavor, they taste so much richer and more homemade. I also tried adding a mashed banana, a tablespoon of honey, and some extra chopped pecans, and they were absolutely delicious that way too! Super easy to make with amazing results. Highly recommend!

Dolly Parton has some of the best boxed muffins on the market! I try to make muffins from scratch as often as I’m able given my very busy schedule as a working mom since I’ve become more ingredient aware. If you look at ingredients you will find SO MANY as well as the good ole “contains bioengineered ingredients” or “contains ingredients derived from a bioengineered source” on almost all of the major brand names-which is frustrating to say the least. While Dollys products still DO have some ingredients that I’m not comfortable with, they have much less than the average AND NO BIOENGINEERED CRAP! Which is a very big plus. When I’ve got no time and the house has been begging for muffins I go for Dolly Partons. They taste SO, SO, SO GOOD! Her Blueberry muffins too! Her brownie mix too!! SO FLIPPIN GOOD! I’ve always loved her as an artist and icon but now that she’s got these I love her even more. It would be nice to see her clean up the ingredients a bit more, but I do understand how most are necessary to maintain a long shelf life. I don’t make these often, but when I do they are a huge hit because they’re great!

Gotta make the special choc chip recipe on box. It is the best!

These are really yummy muffins. They rise quite a lot to make a generous sized muffin. They are not too airy though. The result is a substantial, not too dense or light muffin with a delicious crispy crust. The topping is a nice addition. The banana flavor is fine, just a little artificial tasting but not in a bad way. I might try adding real bananas next time. You have to add eggs, milk, vegetable oil and butter. I just used melted spreadable butter and added a little vanilla. Excellent value?

This is sooo good!!! Super moist and the topping is delicious! I really like that it uses butter rather than oil.

This mix makes the most perfect banana bread! However, I have a very hard time finding in any stores near me.
