Xbox Wireless Controller – Combat Tech Special Edition

First off, the remote itself is awesome. I get sweaty hands, and I hate a greasy controller. I usually keep a damp rag nearby to wipe down my controller and hands between games. I tried to buy those silicone covers at first, but they didn't fit right, did not stay in place, nor did they help with my sweaty hands. But this controllers added grip to the thumb sticks and the back portion of the remote do the trick. It feels great in my hands for hours. And I don't need the damp rag nearby to wipe down the controller anymore either.Now, when I first receive my remote the mic from my headset did not work. It may have been an issue with the headphone jack. I was worried that because I did not report it immediately when I received my remote, I only use my mic when playing with friends which was about a week after I received my controller, they were not going to honor the return. But the customer service team at Goldstar Tech were more then helpfully, and fully cooperative with the return. All while being extremely polite, and patience with me. They first sent me step by step instructions to try to trouble shoot the controller, and headset, but when that didn't work they offered me the option of a full money back return, or exchange for the same item. Well because I love the controller so much, I went with the exchange option. They provided me with a prepaid shipping label, and within 4 days of them confirming they received the package I got my new controller. This one works great, and I have no complaints.Recap: Awesome controller if you have sweaty hands like me. And even better customer service. Oh good old microsoft how I hate them err I mean really use their products a lot so I must like them??? No really though it's an issue when these remotes starting at $70 bucks break when dropped from your lap onto the carpeted floor below. If it doesn't break, it just acquired a new growing problem, bumpers sticking, buttons sticking, joystick uncenters itself so it is always moving. Anyway this one is certainly cool, looks great and the rubber grips are a nice touch imo. Functionally it's no different than the base model. It's simply the tactile feel you're paying for here. I happen to be fine paying an extra $10 or $15 for it as I'm already spending enough to make it an actual purchase I need to keep track of.

I like the looks of the controller and it does work well as far as the sticks and buttons. the rumble part of the controller is a bit wonky and the volue from plugging in a headset is low.

Bought this for my boyfriend as a surprise and he ABSOLUTELY loves it. He loves army green first of all and this was the coolest controller I could find. He loves the grips on the controller too especially since there’s grips on front and back. It’s absolutely amazing is what he says. So comfortable to grip. Just overall the best controller we have purchased yet!

Came in box with no signs of damage. Upon inspection, utter disappointment! Feels cheap compared to previous models. (Plastic feels like cheap mid 80’s GM interior trim) Not major in and of itself. Left trigger sticks! Body plastic doesn’t line up properly. Left stick has drift issues constantly. And home button must be mashed really hard for it to register. My lunar white was way more refined and made with better quality materials. Totally disappointed by a genuine Microsoft product. Guess I’m switching to ps4.

I bought this controller to replace a controller that was out of warranty and was hit or miss on the "A" button. (I think the culprit was my three year old son, but he's three, so... these things happen!)I wanted something different from the black controller I had, and almost went with the white version, but I thought that would get dirty eventually. So, I looked elsewhere. That's when I found this model. I really loved the color and design. And when it arrived, I was amazed by the rubberized grips and the texture. It really feels better in my hands.I'm not sure it it'll improve my gaming any, but it's a fantastic controller nonetheless. It will also be placed high on a shelf to stay out of the hands of a curious three year old. :)

Works great and feels good in your hands, but the rubber begins to bubble out and peel away within two or three months.

Great controller especially for the price. Keep the kids away from it and it will last forever. I am the only one that touches it (I'm 40) and I use it frequently. I dont throw it or smash the heck out of it. It hold up great for me and lasts for many man hours of game play. I love the design.

El diseño esta genial. Tiene textrua de goma justo en la parte donde se sujeta lo que evita que se resbale y suden las manos. Las palancas estan perfectas y los botones funciona con muy buena velocidad. En lo que se refiere a la conectividad bluetooth es bastante responsivo, siempre que se use el dongle adecuado. Aunque debo decir que el consumo de baterias es bastante alto por lo que sugiero adquirir el carga y juega.

A really comfortable remote, the gripping pads are a surprisingly welcome addition (I thought they'd be a gimmick, quite frankly). Really nice remote to use.

El diseño de este mando es muy bonito, con texturas en la parte de atrás para un mejor agarre. Principalmente uso este mando para jugar algunos títulos en PC, el cual basta con emparejar el bluetooth para para que reconozca el mando ( probado en win 10). En general, muy buen control.

3 month update!man this is quite awesome, play all my steam games with it, works wired and wireless on simple bluetooth.....just need to turn on and in 5 seconds, gets connected and paired with my pc
