Some people complain about the price of this HOU product, but when you take into account that it's an equivalent to Apple's Magic Keyboard Folio, which currently retails at £279.00 on the Apple website, it becomes clear that the HOU keyboard case is comparably good value. If you shop around you can find the Apple Magic Keyboard Folio at a cheaper price than on Apple's website (for example, John Lewis is currently offering it at £249.00), but you'd be hard pushed to find one for anywhere near as low as the £105.99 this HOU case currently costs. The question, then, is how the HOU product stacks up against its Apple competitor. In terms of build quality, the HOU product is excellent - a little sturdier than Apple's Magic Keyboard Folio. The HOU case's magnetic attachment is as strong as that of its Apple rival - there's no noticeable difference between them. The typing experience is slightly different on the HOU keyboard as compared to typing on its Apple competitor; it's not overtly better or worse... neither more satisfying nor less satisfying - just different. The keys are well spaced and have a decent amount of travel, so typing feels like actual typing (as opposed to tapping an immovable surface). Staying on the subject of the keyboard area, the HOU product has one big advantage over its Apple rival: backlighting. Whilst Apple's Magic Keyboard (for iPad 12.9" Pro) does feature backlit keys, its Magic Keyboard Folio (for iPad 10.9" 10th Generation) does not. So that's a big score in favour of this HOU keyboard case, which features backlighting with a range of colour options. The HOU trackpad is sensitive and responds to multi-finger gestures just as the Apple Magic Keyboard Folio's trackpad does.In every meaningful way, this HOU product rivals its more expensive Apple competitor, plus the HOU keyboard has the added advantage of backlighting. To sum up, then, with the HOU keyboard case you're getting more and paying less. That's it in a nutshell.

Only things I dislike is the battery power (with lights on) and the switch

After a couple of weeks use, I’ve been very impressed by the quality and function of this keyboard/case. The magnets that hold the iPad on feel secure and I’ve no worries the iPad will fall and be damaged.The keyboard itself is very responsive and comfortable to use. I particularly like that it is backlit, as I often use it at night in a dimly lit room. The downside is of course battery life.It’s more expensive than one I have previously used but you do get what you pay for. It is still very reasonably priced when compared to the branded equivalent.All in all, very happy with it.

This is top quality product, it's just so stylish and functional. It's looks amazingIt's made using my iPad 10th for work so much easier than those cheaper keyboard cases that are close to the screen.It's not cheap but it's definately worth the investment if you're planning on using your iPad for prolonged periods time when typing.

My daughter uses this with her iPad whenever she needs to type out notes or school work. The keyboard is a much more comfortable process than trying to use the on-screen keyboard when inputting a lot of text. I see her using the keyboard and iPad more than using her phone or laptop. It provides the portability as well as the screen real estate for media consumption. The fact that the keyboard is integrated into the case will always mean that the iPad and keyboard are always together as opposed to being separate pieces that she has to carry around.

This is a wonderful keyboard case. I have tried 4 different cases before the HOU brand keyboard case. It was super easy to attach the iPad to the case, it’s magnetic. The magnets are very secure and iPad is very secure in the case. I love the magnetic stand. I had another keyboard case with the magnetic stand, but that one was so small and the iPad was so close to the keyboard that it was difficult to even use the number keys. The HOU keyboard case has solved that problem. It is very easy to adjust the case to whatever I need. The HOU keyboard case also was super easy to sync to my iPad. And, as an added bonus, it is very easy to wake the keyboard up and start typing, just tap any key a couple of times and the keyboard is ready to go.Another great selling point on this keyboard case is that the keyboard is backlit. I didn’t realize how important that was until I ordered a case with no backlighting on the keyboard. The HOU keyboard case has several different colors and it is simple to turn the backlighting on and off.I use my iPad 10th gen like a laptop, and this keyboard case is just what I need. The case is solid and the rubbery feel is very easy to hold and not slippery at all. This is a great keyboard case!

Ce clavier est juste incroyable, j'en suis très satisfait !Il est de très bonne qualité et très bien fini. Son support magnétique fonctionne très bien et est très pratique. Le trackpad est de bonne qualité et est très agréable à utiliser tant au niveau de la précision que de la sensation au toucher.Le clavier en lui-même est de bonne qualité avec des touches réactives et qui ne se bloquent pas.Malgré la qualité, il n'est pas très lourd et n'alourdit pas trop l'iPad.

Great quality for a reasonable price when considering the original. I believe there are no big drawbacks and the outer finish of the casing is quite sleek and fingerprint resistant. The edges of the ipad are covered enough to protect but not obscure the finish of your anodization. Connectivity and set up was simple out of the box and it seems to reconnect very quickly when needed. I did not notice any real latency when typing or using the trackpad so that is a plus

I was so elated to try this “HOU for iPad 10th Generation Case with Keyboard, Magic Magnetic Stand Keyboard for iPad 10 with Multi-Touch Trackpad, Floating Design, 7 Colors Backlit, Bluetooth” for my iPad, it basically turns an iPad into a laptop. It’s easy to set-up and link to Bluetooth and doesn’t have to be paired each time you turn it on, it stays connected.I love how easy it is to use the keyboard (so much easier than using the iPad screen!) my only criticism is the trackpad, I seem to brush it and land myself on another webpage, that function can be disabled, but has to be disabled every time you use it.Although I wouldn’t rely on the case as protective necessarily, it does add a measure of protection and stability.One other thing to add, the angles it can be tilted to are limited, not a problem for my uses, but might be a consideration for some.As expected, this is USB-C rechargeable, quickly becoming the standard, no need to replace an obscure charging cable if you lose your original.
