Wizard’s Chess on the go!
I got this as a gift for my 11-year old nephew, and he was thrilled. He immediately played a few games, and it’s provided hours of screen-free time. The pieces have a nice weight to them and feel pretty durable. The magnetic feature helps keep the pieces on the board, which makes it travel-friendly. It’s such a fun set for anyone who enjoys a chess and Harry Potter. I’ve even considered getting a set for myself!

Perfect for traveling, foldable and magnetic - Harry Potter set is worth it
Great for traveling as this folds in half and fit easily in our suitcase. Has quality pieces that are magnetic and make it easy to play just about anywhere. (We were playing with this board on the hotel bed, which wouldn’t have been possible if these weren’t magnetic - didn’t slide off at all.) I’m glad we spent just a little more on the Harry Potter set as the board is pretty cool.

Purchased this for my husband because he loves Harry Potter and loves chess. He was VERY pleased. The pieces are huge. Also magnetic.

Decent beginner set, plastic pieces
4 stars because the magnetic closure on the board doesn’t function properly so you can’t truly close it as a case. Otherwise a great starter set. Pieces are plastic with one being broke upon unboxing (but I glued it back together where an arm fell off the knight). This is not a high quality set but a good set for beginners and a fun set if you’re a HP fan

Perfect for what I was looking for
I bought this because we are Potter fans and I wanted a set that was a little more durable and safe from damage (compared to my glass and marble sets). The family loves it and despite the pieces being plastic, they look great and have good weight. The magnetic board is also a nice feature that is appreciated with my little guys.

Missing a King in an otherwise good chess set.
This chess set is very good HOWEVER is arrived with three grey Bishops and no grey King! My only option was to return the whole set. I could not find another option.
