My New Favorite Scent!
Became my favorite scent! It’s not overpowering, which I love, and it smells amazing. The scent doesn’t last very long on its own, but it blends beautifully with my body oil.

Smells Like Vicks Vapor Rub
Smells like Vicks vapor rub with a little bit of musk. I'm not surprised though, I've seen 1/2oz of ambrette eo selling for $200+. Am disappointed though, because I want to create Sudanese inspired fragrances for myself, and musk is used in them.

Prefer Gaia's oils over the rest!
Excellent scent. I like to mix it with Gaia's Vanilla Oleoresin and some floral notes. My husband was skeptical before he smelled it, but ended up loving it. It's used in our go to scent for our room atomizer now.

sandalwood smell
It's okay... it smells like Sandalwood instead of Ambrette. I do really like Sandalwood so I made a men's cologne out of this but then had to go buy ambrette seed oil from a supplier I used before that actually smells like musk.

Nice warm fragrance.
This scent has a wonderful fragrance. As a perfume maker, this makes a nice middle to base note blend. It is warm, sweet and slightly musky. I would love to buy a bigger bottle if they have it.

Smells like sandalwood
I was about to return this essential oil, but I wait for the whole product to fade. It changes in 3 stages or steps , 1. Ambrette smell 2. Sandalwood strong smell 3. Musky smells that drives me crazy . I’ve tried a better one but it’s not on sell on Amazon anymore , it used to come in a blue bottle

Edit: they contacted me despite being out of the return window and made it right. Fantastic for a company in this day and age to stand behind their products. Kudos! Original: I don't know whether they mislabeled this ambrette or if they process it on equipment that hasn't been cleaned, but as far as I know, musk shouldn't smell like mild camphor mint. I'd have returned it if I'd opened it in the return window.
