This watch is quality, good value, and beautiful. I ordered the 40 mm and it is a little large on my six and one half in. wrist so I am returning it and will order the 38 mm.

Don't get me wrong, this isn't a high end watch. It does not compare favorably with watches costing multiples of its price. However, it offers awesome value for money and has a well executed, period aesthetic. I love the 1950s Omega-esque styling and overall vintage look. It wears large for a 40mm+ but that's okay since I plan to use it as more of an everyday watch than a dress piece. 38mm would be preferable. Case finishing is solid for the price, with a combination of brushing and polishing. The signed crown shows an unexpected level of detail and appears to be unique to this model. I could do without the display caseback - the movement is nothing to look at and the design adds a few mm of height over the other models in the range. The domed mineral crystal is gorgeous but I'd prefer either sapphire at a higher cost or acrylic, which would allow you to polish out the inevitable scratches. The beauty of the domed dial with applied arabics and indices is somewhat compromised by the tiny, crammed-in date window, which I could do without. As most know - or should know going in - the strap is pure garbage but that's easily remedied. 21mm lugs present something of a head scratcher but it's not especially difficult to source a strap that will fit. Overall, it's a fine watch. I've got a large collection that includes watches that cost 40x times the price but the Bambino small seconds has its own charm, especially when you realize it can be picked up for the cost of a good meal.

The orient bambino small seconds is a classy watch with a timeless design. The champagne sunburst dial looks way better in person, changing depending on the light. I have really come to appreciate the use of both Arabic numerals and dauphine styled indices. The understated design of the watch makes it slide under the radar, and always holds my gaze when I look down to check the time. I have grown fond of the sub seconds register more than I thought I would have compared to a traditional seconds hand. I am perfectly fine with a mineral crystal since I usually am careful with my watches but more so because of the dome shape it has and the way it distorts around the edge of the crystal. The dial has a slight sunburst finish, not the most pronounced but is still noticeable. Also there is minimal wording on the dial which helps to keep it clean and simple. Although I know many people don’t like the date complication on the dial, I do find it quite useful so no complaints here. I love the crocodile design embossed into the leather, the leather strap does come in rather stiff but has broken in after a couple days of use. The watch does have a display case back and houses orients in house movement, which does not have the prettiest of finishing but is signed with orient’s logo and a few designs on the rotor weight. The finishing on the case is fantastic with polishing on the lugs and bezel and a brushed finish on the sides of the case. Lastly the watch has been keeping okay time gaining anywhere from 8-10 seconds a day. Overall the orient small seconds is a great watch for the money with very few complaints especially for the price that you pay. If you’re looking for a nice dress watch under $200, don’t hesitate and buy this!

Nice watch. Keeps great time and has become my daily wearer. I own a couple Orient automatic watches and have had no problems with them. Value wise I think they're the best option out there.

For a fully in-house, classicaly styled, mechanical automatic watch... you cant do much better than this! I bought the yellow gold version and it looks great in person. Pro's: Great looking / Running at +6s per day / Well sized for my 7"" wrist / Easy to operate / GREAT Value Con's: Slightly over-sized for a dress watch @ 40mm / Leather strap is a bit stiff, but if you are fussy then buy a cheap aftermarket. If you want that vintage 50's & 60's Omega/Longines/Classic style, but dont want the reliability risks of 60 year old watch, definitely buy this as a starter before jumping into the deep end.

Tenía duda de comprar el reloj ya que tenía pocas reseñas y sin fotos, pero en general eran buenas, lo adquirí y no me arrepiento, llegó en bien estado el reloj sin ningún problema, no dudo de la fiabilidad y originalidad del mismo, me parece que por el precio es un excelente reloj, por marca, calibre, materiales etc. Lo uso de manera regular, el reloj es cómodo se mira elegante y minimalista, la caja pensaba que sería muy grande pero es de un buen tamaño para un reloj elegante, los acabados, la esfera de domo, la ventana que deja ver el mecanismo es un reloj que realmente recomiendo. Lo conseguí en un buen precio ya que he visto que hoy en día se cotiza este modeló con el segundero, para cualquier amante de relojería, como regalo o agregado a la colección, está perfecto. Se volvió mi reloj favorito y es un excelente parte aguas como primer reloj mecánico automático.
